I think that Ant has shown a proclivity towards NOT being Michael Jackson.

Maybe the biggest key in Ant's development for the next 5 years is whether he can find his midrange.

Note: In the four WCF losses to OKC, Ant shot 6-31 (.193) on 3-pointers.

The improvement ANT should work on is his play selection. I have no doubt he can be a good midrange shooter, an elite 3 snipers but sometimes when game are getting more tough, he just seems lost to decide how to play. This will come with more experiences and once he got this, he will be seriously in MVP conversation.

Anyone saying Edwards and Gobert cannot play together would do well to watch these clips. To completely disregard Ant's pull-up growth and his teamwork with Gobert in setting up for 3-pointers is simply disingenuous.

The pull-up can certainly get him in trouble sometimes, but I think it has to be recognized as the weapon it is. Honestly, there's narrative about the importance of Ant finding a go-to shot, but I'd say that at this point in his career the pull-up 3-pointer might actually be exactly that.

I agree. If Ant could simply learn to play pick-and-roll with Rudy, that would greatly magnify both players’ games.

But it is even more important now that Beringer looks like he could use lobs too, and could be here for a long time.

Love it when NBA execs exaggerate during the summer. "he grew 3 inches taller", "he gained 15lbs of muscle", etc.

Professional body builders are already at dangerously low body fat % at around 5% and they are cutting their calories so low that it's dangerous, that's why they almost reverse diet right after a show.

It doesn't change anything about what was said about Ant because I hope that he's in the best shape of his life so the Wolves can win a title, but just from looking at his videos in China, i'd say he's at 8-12% body fat

I'm not saying your wrong, but I'm assuming whatever calculation they used is the same kind of method they used to use at the NBA Draft Combine.

And for what it's worth, this is one answer I found on Reddit about the NBA combine body fat percentage testing, where SGA once measured a body fat of 3 percentage:

My guess is that they used a cheaper, easier manual method via a skinfold test. It isn’t known for its accuracy and everyone stores their body fat in different ways. This test could also be easily performed in open areas and wouldn’t be as time consuming given that they have a plethora of athletes to work through.

I doubt they were using the most accurate methods like a DEXA scan or hydrostatic weighing. There is a 0% chance imo Shai would have actually clocked in at 3%.

3% seems unhealthy. If he has so little fat in his body his body will fuel itself by burning muscle.
