I agree a little of everything but when spelling Brunson and playing with our top players or playing in the backcourt with Brunson he will need to be a ball handler and shot creator for others more than chucking up shots himself. Career wise he is a low efficiency scorer and ideally you don't want him taking a bunch of shots with higher efficiency scorers on the floor. You wanting him shooting more when the main guys are not playing well (offense is stagnant), some guys are out that particular game, or Brown is playing a lot of the lesser scorers on the floor with him.

I said no such thing. I said they brought him in for shot creation, because nobody else on the team besides Brunson (and certainly no one on the bench)was particularly good at getting their own.

The whole efficiency thing ...that is another discussion that pulls us away from this discussion..which was... we need more ball handing.

Bridges absolutely can create his own shot. Related to that, KAT for a big is pretty good at driving to the hole. KAT vs other bigs can create a bit too. To your point it still is a need though.

Ok but...from the bench who are our shot creators? In the starting lineup Bridges is ok , his handle is kinda high , OG is" OK" ,but not really great the dept. and you cant have guys like KAt handle too much, you need more play making. Why do you keep trying to steer this discussion away from that?

if leon can pull a rabbit out of a hat and manage a giannis trade without trading kat or im all for it.. just doesn’t seem very realistic at all even if giannis demanded to come here only

Idgad if Giannis demanded NYK...MIL would laugh at him and get the best offer possible. Nothing the Knicks can offer makes any sense for MIL.

Yeah I'm not in love with Ben...but he would have a really small role and if we were healthy last year but if we lost a wing for any bit of time Simmons could fill in a little.

Also you have the ability to put him in at the end of games to go small and switch everything if you wanted to as well. It would certainly give us options if he was willing to buy into the role as a defensive wing.
