Three games up. Cubs are 5-6 in the last ten. You hate to see it.

I like it when we win and the Cubs lose. Suck it Greg!

Nice win and even better a Cubs loss. Priester been a great pickup thus far. Let’s keep it rolling boys!

We are due for a rough patch but we lose the first 2 to the Marlins at home and look bad. Then go 7-1. We lose Chourio and Frelick and now Mis. And just keep chugging along.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Who was that guy that was adamant that Priester sucks?

I definitely didn't think he would be close to this. I was expecting Quintana smoke and mirrors and he's obviously been a lot better than that. The deeper numbers suggest the regression is still going to happen, but mea culpa here, it was an incredible trade no matter what else happens.

Priester was awesome yesterday, just mowing down that lineup. Off the top of my head, he seemed to be grinding the last few starts, especially against chicago but this game was mostly light work. Barely had a hard hit ball until uribe came in in the 8th

I'm sure if you go back to my comments on the Priester trade, I basically said, "I see the talent and I know this is a measured move by the Brewers, they aren't doing this out of desperation" but also thought it was lower likelihood that it would work. But I always give them the benefit of the doubt these days.

I think the idea that they were doing this out of desperation was wildly inaccurate. The Brewers rarely do anything out of desperation and they certainly wouldn't give up a top prospect and comp pick out of desperation.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Come on Contreras, if you're hacking at the first pitch there you better do something more than that

It generally works but man, we need Freddy to not throw so many balls. These short outings are rough.

Freddy is all over the place. He's been playing with fire lately.
