He still chases a lot and whiffs a lot, so the approach still needs work and may fall apart once his BABIP normalizes. Right now he is obviously on one of those runs where he is hitting a high amount of line-drives and they are seemingly all falling for hits, but there is regression to be expected here (his wOBA is nearly a hundred points higher than his xwOBA).

His defense is also a bit shaky still too.

Berrios pitching in this run environment is terrifying

Let's hope Berrios can go 4, keep it close (that will probably require some good hitting), and a well rested group of leverage relievers can go on from inning 5 onwards. I suspect a well rested Yariel Rodriguez goes 2 innings tonight if its close (perhaps inning 5 and 6 if the game is tight)

You can’t be throwing get-me-over curveballs with runners on base at freaking Coors Field.

Why would you start Berrios in Denver

Counting stat categories are Wins and K's. Sitting pitchers is tough in a weekly league when its their turn because of that, even if they may hurt ERA/WHIP. And even if he gets beat up a bit, a W was still a somewhat realistic scenario. (Also in 12 team league doesn't make sense to release him, and stream others in... he's a bit above that line.

Should we have went Ty Dejong or Davis Schneider tonight? I think I would have went with Schneider.

Our bench is a little iffy tight now:
Schneider / DeJong
Heineman
Kennedy
Straw

We need Springer and Gimenez back.
