At 28 it's far from too late to find another offensive gear, and I'm more confident he can find one with Guillermo out of the way.

Gotta extend him this offseason

Too bad he hits 224 for his career

Who cares, he's never gonna be a batting average hitter, he's a streaky power guy.

If you want a batting average hitter who hits groundballs, you've got the 500M man

Up to +36 now, but a day game is on the horizon, that's always an issue.

He’s also never hit for power at the rate he’s hitting this season so let’s stop acting like this is the norm for him in that regard as wellz

Historically Guerrero is still a better power hitter than varsho too…

Historically as in his two aberration years out of seven where he doesn't hit groundballs all season, you mean

seriously were acting like varsho is Kyle Schwarber or something. The most home runs he’s ever hit in season is 27. His career slugging is 420 and that’s including this outlier season. Come on man

Guerrero has a higher slugging percentage for his career regardless of how **** some of those years have been. Idk why you can’t just be rational with varsho

You mean he's not actually a 60 HR hitter per season?

Not good, don't know how we'll ever get good value out of him

Being rational with Varsho would require an admission that he's one of their most valuable players (and yes, even more valuable than Vlad)

Right, he's way more valuable than Kyle Schwarber

Varsho does need to get on base more. A .254 OBP clearly isn’t good enough.

Don’t care, he has 11 HRs and 17 XBHs in 28 games.

If he hit even close to this over a full year, he’d have the most valuable Jays season in franchise history
