I think the pitch clock rules were totally ignored, in terms of when batter engagement occurs and when the pitcher is allowed to pitch. Pitcher got it and threw it quick... which was fine with me.

I kinda like the low run differential.
We bunt and sacrifice our ways to scrape those 1-2 run wins
The series with the Rockies is an outlier
This Colorado team is so bad that it’s skewing our low run differential

Jays currently have 5 players in the top 18 in the MLB in average.

While Springer and Vladdy are 7 and 8 in wRC+, respectively.

I kept having to remind myself that it was against the Rockies.

But also, lots of teams have played the Rockies this season, and nobody smoked them quite like that.

I think average means more than a lot of people think. If you have a bunch of players that can string together hits, you’re bound to score runs.
