People obsess over KG's antics, but he was perfect in terms of play style on both ends for stretch big aspirations.

Don't know if I'd say perfect on both ends. He was criticised somewhat for not bringing up his scoring in the playoffs.

Wemby can certainly learn a lot from KG but he'll peak higher as a volume scorer imo.

He was doing a lot outside of scoring on offense, it just didn't translate to raw numbers.

Players who play defense consistently tend to plateau as slightly above average scorers. Even after dead balls, KG was still playing defense.

I know folks are obsessive with the Kobe work ethic stuff but KG is also cut from that same cloth. He ran both sides of the court non-stop and had that endless motor. Idk if this is something you want to focus on because the kind of things Kobe and KG would do as their training seems like it would break down a lot of players who don't have the body for it.

No coincidence that Gianni's biggest influences during his career were Garnett and Kobe. He worked out and trained with both. Nothing wrong with Wemby trying to learn from KG.
