Never seen it but like both those guys.
Bakersfield also had:
Ending scene in 7 with Brad's wife's head in the box and the port a potty in castaway. Also Arnold S. knocked up some house maid here.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Definitely going to check it out. If you like Korn, Jonathan Davis' faja lives 3 houses down from me. And the Carrs. Coached baseball with one. That's bakersfield in a nutshell.

Mike was injured last year and did not make any pre-season preparation which is not the case this year.

I think it's possible this is a bigger deal than most of us realize. One of the podcasts mentioned this offseason how Conley has been healthy enough to golf this summer after not being able to all of last year.

Mike is finally healthy. He goes to the Gym, play golf, all things he did not do last year. Old players are like old cars, need warm up before being efficient. And this year, hopefully Rob show he can play 20 min which will let Mike 20 min where he can contribute much more. I expect from him more points and more assists than last year. He is our only player able to handle the ball, not much TO ( ANT and Randle are still bad at it).
Actually i hope Rob will earn some start and Mike come from the bench. I'm convinced that Joan will benefit a lot from Mike. He got better hands than Rudy (not difficult) and Mike can find him quite a lot. with DDV, NAZ, TSJ, we will have a huge bench this year.
As least Mike know it may be his last dance and he will give 100% to get a ring.

Here's a pretty great song about Bakersfield if you're not a country music hater.

A buddy of mine who just passed away...Merle Haggerts cousin. He said he remembers smoking a J on the bus with Willie Nelson at a very young age.

Nice Story. Merle Haggard said "We don't smoke Marijuana in Muskogee."
I watched The Best of Times again tonight. My 5th viewing or so I would guess.

Haven’t seen it since it came out but remember enjoying The Best of Times. I can really only remember “we’d have won that game if that SOB hadn’t dropped the all. I’m that SOB” as the beginning. Ironically wife taking kid to football practice tomorrow so I have free time to rewatch it.

I wonder if the delay on Malcolm Brogdan, and many vet free agents, is that they are waiting to see what happens in GSW with Kuminga?

IMO of course it's worth the rewatch. :)

Because I'm proud to be male and heterosexual. In my opinion they just wanted me to quietly click the Male box and not the self describe box.

Are you suggesting that the Timberwolves are discriminatory towards straight males?

Did they even specifically ask for you sexual preference. Like I don’t understand what made you the victim here.

Why did the survey have that question about the gender people "identify" with. If they're making an issue of it it gives me pause about what their motives are.

I'm not the type to hide quietly in the shadows. The survey makers obviously had an agenda. If they're going to promote their agenda I'm going to promote mine.

Yes it is and one that I'll happily inflict upon myself.

Because they're being considerate to people that don't identify as male or female.

Why would they need you to self describe if you identify as male? That's the end of the conversation right there.

If I'm at the doctor's and they ask if I'm taking any medications and I check "No", I don't elaborate on the next question about which medications I don't take.
