Gonzalo Garcia has signed a contract extension with Real Madrid through 2030. Garcia had a breakout performance in the Club World Cup as he scored four times in six appearances.
Garcia was expected to find a loan deal to receive more regular playing time, but he is now likely to remain with the first team. Garcia was competing for playing time with Endrick, but he proved himself to be a capable No. 9 in place of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick.
Garcia joined Real Madrid\'s youth academy at the age of 14 and has spent his time with the club since then except for one year with Mallorca.
