Who woulda thought we'd be walking into Dodger Stadium in the middle of August ahead of them in the standings with the best offense in the entire league, being 1st in the American League and 2nd overall in the MLB for a highly anticipated game across the sports world and a potential world series preview.

Huh, with Schneider, Clement, Barger, and Straw all in the game, I would have expected Schneider 2B, Clement 3B, Barger RF, and Straw LF to take better advantage of Straw's defence and Barger's arm.

In terms of injuries, is Loperfido ready to play tonight, or is he still DTD on active roster?

It seems the next guy to come back will be Andres Gimenez. Would have to think he will be back by the Chicago series next week in Toronto. I know he was playing game 3 of his rehab tonight. 0-6 so far in Buffalo, its a shame he got hurt when his bat was turning around.

Agreed. Barger was a bit of a wreck at third base in Colorado. Seems putting him in RF would make more sense. I would have also put Varsho in LF and Straw in CF, due to Varsho's arm.

I suppose they want to give Barger a chance to get right back out there at 3B.
