Trae Young to the Suns. Come on. Click baiters. Oh I’m sure Atlanta is just dying to get Nick Richard’s, 2nds, and Green. That’s their dream trade. :banghead: Plus Trae is a stat stuffer. These fans need to stop targeting empty stat players and start targeting quality stars in their dream/fantasy trades where the Suns give up crumbs and get a star.

That trade would only work for Trae vs Booker swap and ATL is not stupid enough to take on all our trash and whatever crappy 2nd rounders we still have left.

I would not be opposed to a Trae trade but again we have J Green who plays the same position so it really doesn't make any sense unless we were to offload him somewhere but no one really wants Green on his current salary.

Trae is not a stat stuffer lol he is genuinely one of the best offensive guys in the league. He just sucks at defense.

We can't afford him anyway

Nah he’s empty calories stats. I call them forced stats because he is a huge ball usage player that forces stats instead of letting the ball naturally get him his stats. The game doesn’t flow naturally for him. It’s all forced. He doesn’t improve players around him which is key for players who don’t stat stuff. So let’s agree to disagree.

But I agree we can’t afford him anyway.

National games next season:7. Over or under?

I'm taking over only because the league will want to show the Rockets, Lakers, Warriors and Clippers putting the beat down on this team. Luka, Ayton, KD and Beal VS Book/Suns and Green has spin. Maybe Nugs, Cavs and Wolves still has some story left to beat too.
It also gives the national broadcasters the chance to do takedowns of Ishbia. From first to worst in four seasons because of awful decisions and not injuries is a big talking point.

Book and the Suns nationally against anyone else is only for hardcore NBA watchers with insomnia.

Booker isn’t considered top draw player. People who ain’t suns fans or live outside of AZ generally could not care less about Booker. Booker is just (over) valued by Suns fans is the truth. Point is Booker isn’t “must see” TV.

Lol!.....right?? We finally got Muscala, only under different circumstances. We do need a good, gritty floor spacing big man coach to work with Fleming and Ighodaro though.

So I guess this helps somewhat still.

Trae is enticing for sure! With the hopes that he could bring some level of Nash magic to our backcourt.

But if adding/ targeting another star player at the expense of every last ounce of value and young talent we have left, I'd honestly much rather go after Lauri Markkanen as a frontcourt scoring compliment to our defensive wings and centers.

And I think that Ainge might have some level of interest in Allen and O'neale (both who played well for the Jazz in the past). :dontknow:

Lmao people, Trae Young?

The moment the Suns decided that keeping Booker and stretching Beal was the path forward, is the moment PHX solidified that for the next 5 years we're not going to be in the market for players of his caliber.

Any team in the NBA could beat whatever trade the Suns can propose without breaking a sweat. E.g. a team like Houston could scramble together a couple of their worst valued picks and it would easily beat any offer the Suns can put together. We can't even put together enough value to convince GSW trade Kuminga, but somehow Trae is on the table?

There is a reality people need to get used to, and that goes double for the Podcasters who are floating these trade ideas around now, a couple of weeks after telling us what a great idea it was to stretch Beal and that those who don't agree 'just don't get how the CBA works'.

Even if the Suns exceeds all expectations and somehow makes the play-in tournament, other than the MLE we'll still have very few options in terms of making any meaningful moves to take the leap from play-in to playoff team (or better).

the point of this is engagement. You just watched them and shared their clickbait content. That's the only thing they want

Bro just compared Trae to Nash. :banghead: I’m sorry and I apologize ahead of time but that is single-handedly the worst comparison of all time. Literally nothing a like as players. Nash was head and shoulders above Trae in the IQ category. Trae looks for the points first then forces his assist numbers. There’s a reason Atlanta has never won more than 43 games in a season since Trae was drafted. Trae makes NO ONE better. He just hunts stats. Nash MADE everyone better because stats was the least of his worries, he could not care less if he scored a single point in a game. It was a rarity for Nash to play on a team with less than 50 wins

Don’t ever compare those two again if you want to maintain an ounce of knowledge respectability. And I again I apologize for being harsh but this particular comparison really gets under my skin with how uneducated and weak it is.

I agree. I think of Trae as being more like a Mark Eaton type, with shades of Bill Russell.

Bosnia and Herzegovina coach Adis Beciragic made no attempt to hide his frustration after the game, pointing to glaring fitness problems among his players.

“[Jusuf] Nurkic is out of shape and can barely run,” Beciragic said of the NBA center, who scored 15 points in his team's latest losing effort.

When you think just a year ago around this time you posted a hype tweet about him meeting Bud in Croatia, being in best shape of his life ready to take us to the promised land with the help of the Big 3.
