4 20pt scorers is only 80pts, there's still another 30-35-40 pts to get to. You guys a worrying about things that don't need to be worried about,

I get it tho, it's August. I hope everyone is enjoying the summer.

If the best defender is covering BI, you guys are anticipating Barnes production to drop? That makes sense to y'all?

when you're holding opponents to league best 79 points, its all good.

It's just that by the time we're talking fourth option. That's basically a 14 point player, most times.

I don't think that is a slight on Barnes, just kind of a numbers thing. I don't think there has been a team with 4 players averaging 20 ppg since the 1970 Lakers.

I expect one or two of RJ, Barnes, and IQ to be in the 18ppg range.

My hope is that it results in the efficiency of RJ and Barnes going up. I'm less worried about ppg for both of them.

We should also have a lot more consistent bench depth this year, so I expect more of our shots are also coming from those guys.

You should also consider that with multiple players/starters playing 60 games, that leave a lot of games where where guys play without the full lineup, which inflates averages

Feels like we have been having this discussion for three years. Truth is, Scottie was never going to be the top scorer on a contender — but the question is can he be the best player on a contender and that remains to be seen. He has the talent and physical gifts but he just hasn’t been able to play at his best consistently. We get a month or two of superstar Scottie Barnes every season but he’s unable to sustain, usually once an injury hits or there’s a significant roster change. Barnes at his best is a pretty phenomenal player. If he can get to 80% of that consistently then he can be a top player in the league. He just can’t seem to get that consistency down.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

if both scottie and cmb hit their defensive potential...the combo can lead us to the title being around 17-19 ppg scorers imo
