If Golden isn't leading the team/getting 100+ targets this season, then we're doing it wrong.

Some good stuff

https://www.si.com/nfl/packers/everything-that-happened-at-practice-12-of-packers-training-camp

“I’ll be good,” McKinney said. “I’ll be ready. I’ll be ready when I’ll be ready.”

He didn’t anticipate playing in the preseason but said he’d be ready for “Week 1. Yeah, I’ll be ready.”
McKinney called it a “lingering” issue.

“I’m just going with the plan,” he said. “Obviously, glad that we caught it when we caught it, so just trying to take it slow and then the buildup, obviously. But I’ll be ready when it’s time to go, for sure.”

Lukas Van Ness continues to deliver strong play against the run. On the second play of the day, he overpowered his blocker to stuff Josh Jacobs in the hole.

- With Elgton Jenkins out and Rasheed Walker out, the No. 1 line consisted of left tackle Jordan Morgan, left guard Aaron Banks, center Jacob Monk, right guard Sean Rhyan and right tackle Zach Tom. When Banks false-started once, he was pulled for Donovan Jennings.
After a week at left tackle, how has Morgan performed?
“Some good and then some where he’s got to get better,” coach Matt LaFleur said. “I think you can say that about everybody. Again, he’s a young player, but he’s getting a lot of exposure at that spot, so with that comes a lot of opportunity.”
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Feels like it would be logical to trade someone for the best CB or Edge rusher you can get.. are we really going to keep 7 WRs active and Watson on the PUP and then have 8 when he returns? Highly doubtful.

I don't see the issue. Golden, Reed, Doubs, Wicks, and Savion are locks. Watson is #6 when he comes back. In the meantime, they'll likely keep one other guy, and no one is trading anything for guys like Hardman or Heath.

My guess would be that yet again Heath makes the team as the #6 while Watson is out, but who knows.

I think its more because of Doubs contract situation paired with the depth that makes a trade happening logical.

But really he could've just simplified it and said a Doubs trade should be looked into

Doubs for a CB makes a lot of sense (dont think Doubs has high enough value to fetch anywhere near an equivalent Edge)

All of these soft tissue injuries suck.

Is there any evidence that Doubs is more than #3, #4 WR? As you stated, he's due a new contract. He also has his injury issues. There is no reason to think there is any trade market for him.

I like the idea of the starters participating in the practices with the Colts this week but not the game on Saturday. They'll get some work in against another team but it's somewhat controlled.

Why didn't LVN do anything in Saturday's game then?

I think he only played nine snaps, same as Kenny Clark and Rashan Gary

And he was "killing it in camp" last offseason too. I loved the pick at the time but I'll believe it when he shows something on the field.

Because he only played a handful of snaps? Just a possibility

Im in the ill believe it when I see it in the regular season camp but "Why didn't he do anything Saturday?" isn't a point worth making

I'm cautiously optimistic. First year was always going to be about development considering where he came from and only being a part-time rotational player at Iowa. Last year was basically a wash with him out there playing on a broken thumb. Your hands are everything as a DE. If he can stay healthy this year, I think he'll start making more drastic steps in his development.

That's always the risk of playing key guys in preseason games
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"
