Re: Bucks News, Transactions, Trade Ideas
I'm over caring about Thanasis getting a roster spot. In general, I really despise nepotism and I wish our superstar didn't need his security blanket to feel comfortable but whatever. Its not going to change the overall quality of the roster one way or another... he better only be on a min salary though.

Re: Bucks News, Transactions, Trade Ideas
Just don't get anyone being upset with a TA roster spot. Besides the obviousness of keeping the greatest/most loyal franchise player you'll ever have happy at a time where he's going to be due a new deal in the near future, Thanasis is well loved by everyone and pushes people in practice. If any team is relying on their #15 guy to contribute they are screwed regardless.
I've seen Primoz Brezec, Daniel Santiago and Awvee Storee just to name a few guys rostered on this team. Thanasis is not even in the bottom half of the last 25 years of #15 roster guys.

Now that's a research project I do not want to do but sure would get a chuckle out of if someone else takes it on.

Miami carried a glorified team mascot on their roster for an entire decade and no one batted an eye. At least Thanasis gives us some cool dunks sometimes.

I still don't recall seeing anything close to an official rumbling in terms of TA signing this year.

He says he's healthy and wants to play. That's the only rumbling that matters.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Overall, i agree it is immaterial. At the end of the day, it is highly unlikely the Marjon's and Tyler Smiths of the world will provide much value add to the team and were only really on the roster late last year since we invested a draft pick in them. But are we sure TA was loved by everyone? I remember a few times Bud just losing it over TA doing something stupid in a blowout because Bud wanted to get some run on the young guys. Other times, players would cringe when TA would get too rough in garbage time and almost start a fight/injure someone. Its bad business for the coaches and end of bench players fighting for a spot to openly trash the superstars brother, but I can't imagine the end of bench guys were excited losing minutes to TA.
Just like I'm not going to care about wasting a roster spot on him, I'm also not going to pretend like he is value-add outside of keeping Giannis happy.

Re: Bucks News, Transactions, Trade Ideas
People having NBA champion Kuz who had a meaningful hand in it ranked higher than our zero accomplishment nobodies that are a bad camp away from being 2 way guys isn't surprising. It is surprising that you're surprised by it though.
KPJ has the tools to be better but let's see it for a full season

Re: Bucks News, Transactions, Trade Ideas
KPJ did have a full season arguably better than Kuz' best. Would be his 3rd highest pt total on significantly better efficiency than he's ever had. Significantly more assists. Double his best steals. 2nd highest on/off. That's in addition to superior play after he moved here.
Sans off the court stuff, KPJ isn't a bad camp away from being a 2-way. Neither is Green off 2 seasons where he was a winning, 2-way player, not 2-way contract guy. That's in addition to coming off a strong playoffs. Trent & Portis aren't 1 camp away from a 2-way. So that's some real hyperbole.

So now we are referring to him as "NBA Champion" Kyle Kuzma. True. But first you have to insert "bubble". NBA Bubble Champion Kyle Kuzma . He didn't start and shot just 31.3% from 3 in the playoffs that season. A bit better than NBA Champion Jordan Nwora and NBA Champion Alex Toupane for the Bucks though.

These guys were all better than Kuzma last year, most importantly.

NBA Champion Kyle Kuzma also had the 2nd worst net rating in the Lakers playoff rotation in their title run, the worst ORTG, and they were 10 points per 100 worse with him on court btw. He followed that up in the next postseason (2021) with a series almost as hilarious as the one he just had against the Pacers.

Are people (and people i mean even one person) still trying to act like Kuzma doesn't suck?

We should probably have people restate their positions on Kuzma at least once a week, just to be sure.

As of today, Tuesday the 12th of August, I don't think Kyle completely sucks.
Given I'm stating this from the future for most of you then best buckle up for the new reality coming your way.

Re: Bucks News, Transactions, Trade Ideas
I "think" KPJ is better but we've seen dudes like Ramon Sessions have a decent few months.
Kuz still averaged 20+ minutes and 10 points on a championship team. Whatever his role was, he played it and got a ring. Our minimum contract dudes still have more to prove than Kuz.. but yeah I think the KPJ breakout continues but that's homer bs

I always be travellin', strangely enough unless I be travellin' to some places where maybe the travellin' takes a vacation.
