I identified as a 66 year old passionate Wolves fan first and foremost. 2nd as a proud heterosexual male who really likes women. I decided to share that here to elicit support and or discussion. I got some support in the form of +1s. I got discussion in the form of BlackJackMac. I got attacked and misrepresented in the form of Mattya. He doesn't seem to like discussion. Just blind adherence to his way of thinking. As stated I will participate in no more discussion of Gender Identity unless it's done in PM and only if it's done in the form of discussion and not name calling. You're welcome to discuss in PM if you want to. If not can it with the personal attacks.

KG didn't use direct insults towards those here from what I read. The method of speaking for the mentally ill by tossing insults in a emotionally immature way doesn't help them. For those who realizes that they are in fact ill and seek help who are you to decide that what they see as a problem is deemed an insult when its their truth? Lets get back to basketball.

You're conflating two things. Being inclusive of all people and being inclusive of everyone's views.

Generally being a gaping **** to someone because of something core to their identity is a no no.

However, being a dick to someone for their terrible stances (which are choices) (and which can lead to negative outcomes) is fine.

There are some instances where tolerance is not good. I admit to being intolerant of persons with penises participating in women's sports. Tolerating those people leads to actual women being robbed of their opportunity to make a living in professional sports. I have a daughter that has a good chance of being a professional athlete, but she will have no chance of that if she has to compete with person's with penises. I have no tolerance of pedophiles working with children such as being a teacher or in childcare. When the cons of tolerance outweigh the benefits intolerance is the best policy. There are many more examples of tolerance being a bad quality. However, I'm totally open to being friends with and showing love and compassion to all people. Transgender, they/them fine.
