If Big Balls had not been assaulted, this probably wouldn’t have happened.

However, time for some real talk, these pop-up flash mobs of up to 100+ teens rampaging through DC is beyond the capacity of MPD to respond to. The surge has been dumb, it should be targeted to where these teens have been fond of rampaging, the Navy Yard, China Town, and other heavily visited nightlife areas.
Some of these kids deserve to have business owners crack some skulls, or bust some kneecaps, they deserve it.

Forget Epstein. It’s all about the midterms. Lie about crime rates, stir up civil unrest, declare martial law and boom, no investigations, no subpoenas, no additional impeachment.

2026 is the last stand for democracy. Trump knows it and is doing anything he can to make sure there is no free and fair election and therefore no accountability.

I don't agree with teens rampaging but it's also borne out of the massive income inequality, as evident by those very areas. Teens probably aren't even cognizant of it but the streets yearn for a correction and it's manifesting subconsciously.

he is dishonest.

Or 70% say that he is dishonest. 20% lie that he is not dishonest and 10% are that stupid(actually think he is honest).

from hearing anything negative about him. And they
think libs all have TDS. I mean that stuff is all fake news,
right? If that stuff was true then they themselves would be fools.
That is a conclusion that is unacceptable.

We are spiraling towards martial law.

I think communities are going to have to govern themselves with town patrols, neighborhood watch, and community meetings that work with police to try to build positive relations with the storm troopers Trump is dispatching.

The military has a command structure.

There will be protocols for working within the chain of command. I hope state governor, city mayors, and local police jurisdictions can standardize communication and mobilization issues. Maybe mayors and police chiefs will shine and troops will stand down with discretion. Nothing bad happened with Marines IMO wrongfully detached to ICE agents in LA.

I have an encouraging thought.

President Trump wanted his birthday celebration to be a grandiose display of his power and command over the army. What really happened? Soldiers marched halfheartedly. They clowned him to demonstrate they support the people and the Constitution. I have faith that the National Guard soldiers know who they serve and what their purpose is.

I'm sure no criminals will brazenly cross up police and military. Trump will claim success.

Maybe this will be better than many deployments to hostile theaters and unnecessary wars.
