I live on a hill that flows into the Milwaukee river and never have water issues. The water main in front of my neighbor's house burst last year destroying half their lawn with a river of water but both out basements were completely dry. This storm we somehow hoe got an inch in the basement. (Maybe the sumpump backed up?). In Florida and in laws said it was minimal so will be fun to deal with when I get back.

I don't wanna be a downer on the Packers board (especially since I am still a big fan), and I didn't want to derail the ATL thread, so bringing to OT.

Does anyone else just care less and less about the NFL as time has gone on? Maybe football in general, though college for different reasons. I think it is quite clearly my least favorite of NBA/NFL/MLB trio. It's part injuries and watching guys nearly die on the field a couple times a year. It's part oversaturation and having it force fed to us for like 9/12 months per year. It's part...ineffable? Like I don't even know why. And it feels weird as it is this ever-growing juggernaut. Just me?

Nope, not at all. For me I think the lack of skill level at most positions also just makes it a more boring sport as I've gotten older. Antonio Gates was such an eye-opener for me. There's no other sport where it's conceivable to not play at all and then get to a HoF level in one season of sport-specific training just by having the right set of physical attributes.

NFL will always be my #1. Each game important. It's oversaturated in terms of national games yes but my team plays one important game per week. NBA regular season sucks. MLB regular season is fun when your team is winning, otherwise is a bore. I enjoy college football and the playoffs but the playing field isn't level and my team has little chance at a title.

And then there are the playoffs. One and done in the NFL vs. round after round in the NBA. Going until late June. Ugh. There are good and bad playoff games in each sport but every game being an elimination game can't be beat. That's where March Madness excels.

And yes NFL injuries suck and some stars will get hurt (like every sport). But at least I know if I go to Lambeau this year Daniels, Burrow, Hurts and Lamar won't be rested.

The more I learned about how **** the players are post-career and how much the league fights against helping them with anything at all ever, the less I watched.

I don't watch any NFL games anymore, I don't have to listen to people drone on about fantasy football anymore, Sunday's in the fall are days when I can do anything I want and have almost no other people around.

The only games I really watch these days are the Sunday, Monday, and Thursday night NFL games. I have kids, and I can't justify sitting in front of a TV for 3+ hours straight on a Sunday instead of doing something fun with them. I play daily fantasy and just track what's going on by monitoring box scores on my phone, or throw in an Airpod while we walk around the zoo or something. They are starting to get ready for bed during the night games, so it's easier to put those games on while we do that.

NBA you get legends with bad backs and knees, NFL legends are committing suicide. It's hard watching a game and Doubs out there with a bubble helmet knowing he probably shouldn't take another hit.

I don't necessarily disagree but growing up with sports pretty much means I'm not going to give it up now. In some ways, my viewership is down (pretty only watch my teams on Sat. & Sun. now vs. all day viewing); in other ways, it's up (being able to watch any Bucks/Tigers/Red Wings game if I want to).

I think it's hard in any case to keep track of multiple sports at once as you get older. I've dropped so many over the years from watching a heap of sports and probably 10 non-Bucks hours of NBA a week to just Bucks games and my football team. Couldn't tell you a thing about cricket, tennis, most combat sports stuff etc that I used to know all about.

I don't think I can quit it (nor would I want to at this time), but good to know it's not just me. As I said, it feels like this ever-growing juggernaut, but it does make me wonder about troubles it could have in the distant future if even sports diehards posting on message boards for two decades feel this way.

I have a 2 and a 4 year old. The only sports I get to watch on TV are games on after 8:30pm.

I still like NFL, barely watch college, but will try to tune in to as many Bucks and Badger bball games as I can. I do get to sneak some west ham games in when early too. I want to be able to watch more but that’ll have to wait a few years.
