Pena just launched his second home run for Wisconsin, a nuke out to LF.

Pena also just smoked one up the middle to score two and give Wisconsin the 4-2 lead.

With Pena and Made racing towards the big leagues, what is the plan for Adamczewski and Pratt? What are the defensive projections for each of these guys? Thanks for your sharing your knowledge on our farm system!

My guess is as long as Pratt's bat is playable they'll keep him at SS since his glove is the best in the system and he's got adequate range. But since the bat isn't there yet there's no need to make a long term decision yet.
Adamczewski is a bit easier. He's going to move to a corner OF spot, probably left. The reason he's still in Carolina is with Made and Pena gone they can finally give him an extended look at 2B, but I think he eventually moves to the grass.
It's also not out of the question that Pena moves to the OF as well. His glove is well behind the bat at the moment. As good as he was at the plate last night he was pretty brutal in the field, botching an easy grounder and dropping a tag that would have been a third out.

1. Milwaukee Brewers
Brewers Top 30 Prospects
Top 100 Prospects (6): No. 3 Jesús Made, SS; No. 4 Jacob Misiorowski, RHP; No. 16 Luis Peña, 2B; No. 47 Cooper Pratt, SS; No. 69 Jeferson Quero, C; No. 97 Logan Henderson, RHP
System Summary: Just having two of the top five prospects in baseball and another top 20 prospect would have put the Brewers in the top five. Three more Top 100 Prospects pushes them into the top spot.
System Strengths: Infielders. Made is one of the game’s best prospects, and Peña is right there with him. Pratt, Luke Adams, Andrew Fischer, Brady Ebel and Brock Wilken are all worth watching, as well.
System Weaknesses: Power. The Brewers’ farm system, like the big league club, is focused more on athletic, defensively versatile position players than hulking sluggers. Fischer’s addition in the draft helps add some pop, though.

You could make the argument very easily that the Brewers are the most well run team in professional sports right now.

Yes considering they are hamstrung with no cap. Arnold is going make some $$$ somewhere. As are some in scouting.

Kuehner looked real nice. Had a bunch of whifs, only gave up one run. Ran it up to 97 mph. Looks like he could be a lefty specialist right now.

Re: 2025 Brewers Minors/Prospects thread - Andrew Fischer - FRP
Pipeline has the system ranked #4, which is probably where they'd be on BA without Misiorowski.
4. Milwaukee Brewers
2025 preseason rank: 7
2024 midseason rank: 17
2024 preseason rank: 3
2023 midseason rank: 3
Top 100 Prospects: Jesús Made, SS (No. 5); Luis Peña, INF (No. 16); Cooper Pratt, SS (No. 53); Jeferson Quero, C (No. 65); Logan Henderson, RHP (No. 90)
The Brewers continue to turn over one of the deepest systems in baseball, consistently developing breakout names to replace those who graduate to the Majors. Peña has been tied at the hip with Made as the pair of 18-year-old infielders have reached High-A already in their first stateside seasons, and first-rounder Andrew Fischer gives the organization another impressive bat on the dirt after being one of college baseball’s best hitters in the spring. Breakouts from Marco Dinges, Josh Adamczewski and Ethan Dorchies are further proof Milwaukee can keep the developmental conveyor belt moving year in and year out.

Re: 2025 Brewers Minors/Prospects thread - Andrew Fischer - FRP
Pena was the first listed player on the top Pipeline breakouts
Luis Peña, INF, Brewers (No. 16)
Peña's teammate and runningmate, Jesus Made, leapt 51 spots from his preseason ranking into the top five. But Peña's emergence from unranked to No. 16 overall is at least equally impressive. The 18-year-old was overshadowed by Made when both signed as part of Milwaukee's 2024 international class (Made for $950K, Peña for $800K), and both seemed primed for breakouts after excellent debuts in the Dominican Summer League. Those happened in tandem with Peña producing 26 extra-base hits and 40 steals in 71 games at Single-A Carolina. He was leading the Carolina League with a .307 average in 71 games at the time of his promotion to High-A Wisconsin last week.

Re: 2025 Brewers Minors/Prospects thread - Andrew Fischer - FRP
ESPN updated their end of the season top ten:
1. Jesus Made SS
2. Luis Pena SS
3. Cooper Pratt SS
4. Jeferson Quero C
5. Logan Henderson RHP
6. Luke Adams 3B
7. Brock Wilken 3B
8. Braylon Payne CF
9. Andrew Fischer 3B
10. Bishop Letson RHP
What changed this season: Jacob Misiorowski just graduated with one of the more notable big league debuts in recent memory -- right up there with Paul Skenes. Made and Pena both had breakout DSL seasons last year and will finish this season in High-A as 18-year-olds who are headlining the system. Adams continues to grow his sleeper bona fides while Fischer and Payne were the top picks from the past two drafts.
Who could debut next: Quero is on the 40-man and in Triple-A, so he should get a look when there's a need at catcher.

I know there can be a lot of recency bias with prospect stuff after the draft, but I was still surprised to see Fischer listed as our #6 with the depth of our system. Even more surprising is MLB has him listed as the 2nd best third base prospect in all of baseball.
Do it for Chuck
