They got the story wrong. That angry woodpecker drawing was given to Murphy by Ted Perry from channel 6 (using AI to create it). Perry asked him if they win the World Series would he get it as a matching tattoo. Murphy said "done".

This is absolutely insane. They're destroying any and every team they play. I have never seen anything like it.

I'm stun that a baseball journalist named Bob Nightengale would call a play that didn't even end an 8th inning one that ended a winning streak.

I'm confused. Are Bobby and Boob different people?

I legitimately feel bad for a poor kid trying to make his name in baseball as Bobby Nightengale

If we win the WS, I'LL get that tattoo. Hell, I'd even get a plain ol' pecker tattoo.

I listened to BP's Five and Dive podcast for the first time this morning and I've never heard someone get more worked up or go out of their way more than Craig Goldstein did to damn the Brewers with faint praise. It was ten minutes of loudly yammering about how it doesn't matter what the Brewers do, he'll never get to a point where he admits they're better than the Dodgers. And maybe the Mets. He doesn't see what makes the Brewers successful working in the post-season. He also had to mention according to BP's proprietary all encompassing stats DRC+ and DRA- the Brewers offense and defense both sit outside the top ten.

So I guess **** results!

Of or on? Since you didn't specify, I feel like the board should get to vote.

It's their cognitive dissonance I referred to earlier. How can the Brewers possibly be good when we, the Illuminati, said they wouldn't or couldn't be?

Screw them with rusty screws.
