Hey! Put some green font on that or something. I'm out here fighting for my life trying to prove that Simmons could potentially be a solid depth piece and here you go with Lebron comparisons. :D

We could have used another body at C during the regular season.

JayTWill doesn't want anyone on the team besides Ben Simmons :D

I was watching some highlights of Simmons the other day with him getting downhill and finding open shooters. Seeing a bigger forward attacking off the dribble and kicking out for the 3 was giving me flashbacks of you know who. I know you miss that feeling 8-)

I also saw him driving into the paint with no plan, getting in trouble and having some terrible turnovers. I don't miss that feeling

Shamet has my vote for the last spot. He's a proven commodity here, he fits. This is a playoff rotation worthy player for the vet min. Solid value for a depth piece. Good for spacing, and we could use more of that

I couldn’t agree more. If not him, I’d call Lonnie Walker over Simmons. I’d also like Westbrook more than Simmons btw.

I would love to have Shamet back although i'm not sure what role would be available to him on this year's roster. He was one of the team's best catch and shoot guys last year despite the slow start and it would be nice to have someone that can shoot while on the move some of the time.

I don't know how he feels about returning to the team after the ups and downs of his minutes in the beginning and then finishing the season on fire from 3 just to be benched most of the postseason. A couple good shooting games in the postseason could have raised his profile this off-season but now he may just be fighting to stay in the league.

Is this who you're referring to about who Simmons reminds you of? :D

Mitch still hasn't signed an extension FYI.

If there's a trade it will 100% include him. Maybe they view Simmons as a better non-spacing fit next to KAT than Mitch.

Not that I agree but, I can see the logic in it.

I cannot see any such logic. Mitch is perfect for us, Simmons is a bum.

Kolek did himself a massive disservice during Summer league by playing like crap.

I don't want Ben here still. There is literally nothing positive that i can say about him as a player.

Now if he was still dating Maya Jama (she is safe to Google, Green Arrow), i might have taken a different tone since I support all Knicks WAGs, but he isn't anymore and that further diminishes any value Ben has.

Bring back Shamet and Wright.

I'd rather sign Shamet and then trade Kolek for multiple 2nd rounders and use that slot to bring in Brogdon or Delon Wright.

We're in win now mode. That extra insurance could prove critical throughout the season.
