Brewers/Reds Series - Perkins Back Sunday

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Wed Aug 13, 2025 9:36 pm

We'll be without Collins. There is talk that Mis will start Friday, probably not go real long, but a tuneup for facing the Cubs next week. Nothing official though. You'll need AppleTV to see them go for 13. Reds are good, this will be a challenge, especially without Collins.

Friday - 5:40 - TBA vs. Martinez (AppleTV+)
Saturday - 5:40 - Priester vs. Littell
Sunday - 12:40 - Quintana vs. Abbott
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

As much as I want to extend this streak, if we lose this series it pushes the Cubs even further down

Nice that he wants to be there at the birth of his child. I'm of the opinion, however, that the waiting room is a better place for the father than the delivery room. He's going to see things you don't really want to see.

Sound advice, Sid.

8 game lead going into this series. Cubs have the Pirates (and no Skenes). I'd like to go into the Cubs series maintaining the 8 game lead.

Is there any truth to Blake Perkins being gone on bereavement leave?

Yelli in the OF. Lockridge (who Murph called Breckinridge because he couldn't remember the name) and who knows.

Id imagine Steward Berroa will get called up. He's the only other OF on the 40 man. Tyler Black has also played some OF

Frelick. We still need a 4th at least, but we have Sal still (unless I missed something).

One more scheduled, Friday 9/5 against the Pirates. I don't think they flex games so that should be it.
