This feels like the worst the NFL's ever been when it comes to QB talent, and it's the most QB friendly era on top of it

I think that is an illusion caused by the fact that a mediocre QB won the SB.

Lamar just had one of the greatest regular seasons a QB has ever had. And Mahomes could end up being the GOAT, granted last season was a huge down year for him.

Now he has Ladd who was one of the best rookie receivers last year, Keenan, who wasn't as good, but was working with a rookie QB while he has great chemistry with Herbert, then two rookies, 2nd round pick Tre Harris who is a big guy, jumps for the ball, KeAndre Lambert Smith, a speedster to stretch the field (he's looked great in preseason), and Oronde Gadsden. They also signed a vet guard to improve their line with pro bowl tackle Rashawn Slater and last year's #5 overall pick.

Then their first round pick, Omarion Hampton is fast, explosive, and will be a solid RB, but they also have Najee Harris, so their running game is much improved from JK Dobbins.

Obviously azcatz list in the first post is pretty good, but I think although a guy like Jayden Daniels will be a better fantasy guy, I'd rather have Herbert on my team (for now). I imagine with defenses knowing Daniels better, he may have it a bit tougher. And no way I have Jordan Love ahead of Herbert and Burrow. I think those guys are 4 and 5. Burrow may be a bit better, though that is largely because of Chase. If Herbert had him he'd probably look better.
Pro bowl tackle Rashawn Slater is out for the entire season though.

Oh damn, how did I miss that. Well Joe Alt will move to left tackle which in his second year, he may be better than Slater even. And tackle is their deepest spot and they have decent backups. Regardless, Herbert can unload fast. He had problems this past year because teams could go from zone to man and double McConkey, who was the only good receiver. With Keenan Allen, the two rookie receivers, the new TE, and I didn't even mention Quentin Johnson who was a disappointment as a rookie a couple years ago, improved a lot under Harbaugh, and he will likely just be a backup. Then with a lot better running game, Herbert just has tons of options.

I feel like the Chargers & Seahawks share the same identity.

Mike Macdonald is part of the Harbaugh tree. Mike was on Jim's staff at Michigan. It feels like they share the same DNA. As well as the same defensive scheme. Jesse Minter & Macdonald having both worked together at Michigan & with the Ravens.

They're very similar philosophy wise. Run the ball & play stellar defense. The only difference is one team has Greg Roman as their OC, and the other runs a version of the Shanahan offense. But there are a ton of Jim Harbaugh connections, including former staff (Michigan) that are now in Seattle.

Geno is in that 15-20 range. If his play was more consistent, he would be ranked higher. The turnover worthy plays are his biggest bugaboo.

I wouldn't have Herbert or Stroud top 10. Also, would flip Stafford & Daniels. Rodgers should be somewhere in the 20's based on his most recent performance. Caleb belongs in the bottom tier.

Stafford is not a tier-1 QB

It's such a glaring flaw it basically makes the whole list void.

Mahomes and Stafford are too high but otherwise, list looks mostly right.

Burrow is the best pure QB in the NFL.

Pure? As in pocket passer? You have to win both inside & outside the pocket. Guys who can do both, have a clear advantage in today's game.

Sorry, but I prefer my QB's to be dual threats. Especially with how much the game has evolved. You have to win both inside & outside the pocket. Guys who can do both, have a clear advantage in today's game.
Meh, I'll take the most accurate QB to ever play in the NFL, personally. But if you want today's version of Mick Vick, that's all you, brother.

Sorry, but Joe has to win one if we're going to anoint him as such. Otherwise, it's nonsense.

The Netflix show made me like him even less.

All those scouts and GMs and whoever else they polled said it, i just agreed lol

On that list of 34 QBs, yes, Burrow is the best QB. Lamar, Allen, and Hurts could run circles around him.

But again, the most accurate QB in the history of the NFL is a guy named Joe Burrow, so, i rock with him.

Honestly, I don't really care about the opinion of a few scouts or whatever. Does it mean they're right? No.

Your homer takes aren't going to sway everyone. Despite the numerous times you've expressed your opinion on the matter.
