Pistons full schedule released.

The real question, is how many national games are the Pistons going to get this year?

https://www.nba.com/pistons/schedule

First two games are on the road, with one out West. Ridiculous.

The 8 West Coast games are split into 2 trips. The big one is at the end of December - 5 games, with Christmas landing right in the middle. (No, they don't play on Christmas). @ Port, Sac, Utah, LAC, LAL.

The second one is 3 games at the very end of January. @ Den, Phx, GS.

Spending Christmas day in Utah as a team probably a bit of a bummer for everyone for sure.

Utah is a beautiful place. I have never understood the vitriol towards it.

I really think being anywhere but home is a bummer on Christmas as some of your guys have young kids... but overall its worse being in the middle of a West Coast trip and also being in a city that isn't near anyone else's home. If Cade was in Dallas, or if they were in Houston and Ausar could be with Amen, or something along those story lines it would at least be aa silver lining but overall being in the middle of a long road trip around Christmas with no connections to a city is kind of a bummer for sure.

If you could go to any three (and only 3) home games this season which two would you pick?

Candidates for me are

Boston (Home Opener) Sunday 3:30
Orlando (Our Last Cup Group Play Game) Black Friday 7:30
Houston (Amen vs Ausar on Amazon Prime) Friday 7:00
New York (Our first game against the team that knocked us out on PRIME) Friday 7:30
Cleveland 2/27 (Hopefully a post deadline post AS Break game that has significant meaning in the race in the East/Central) Friday 7PM ESPN
Golden State 3/20 (Haven't see Steph in action in person yet might not have many more chances) Friday 7:30

I'd probably go with Houston, New York and Cleveland.... Golden State is a B2B with travel for us .... NY is also a B2B for us but luckily no travel as its the fourth game of a four game home stand.

I don't know if anybody else feels this way but it feels so foreign going into this season with the Pistons having playoff expectations to not only make the playoffs but do some damage. It feels like the Lions after their 9-8 season going into the next season when they were projected to be a playoff sleeper after so many years of mediocrity and terrible seasons. It's really nice, it's been 15 years and even then the Pistons core was rotting so it didn't feel fun anymore.

I guess a better comparison would be the Pistons after the '01-'02 season when they had a breakout after years in the wilderness then had playoff expectations and took the next step the next year before the Championship run 2 seasons later. Not saying this team will follow a similar path but it's nice to see the team relevant again and finally on the rise.

Why would they have to spend Xmas in Utah? That game is boxing day. Dec23rd they're in Sacramento. 2 days off in-between gives them lots of options

If only they made enough money to be able to afford to fly family members to Utah..... oh wait

Spending Christmas in a luxury resort or huge rented Airbnb in the mountains with your family would be an awesome experience. SLC is a beautiful place that time of year. The bachelors could spend it in Vegas which is a 30 min flight.

I will get to watch the Pistons play this season more games than I have the last 10 years combined. Normal season I watch summer league and the game the Suns visit Detroit. I have only seen Cade play 10 games (6 were playoff).
