If we have a resurgence of some sort for Straw’s bat, that is amazing. What a trade for the Jays.

Assuming we don't blow this game we need Vlad's bat tomorrow much more than today so no worries on the off night.

This is a magical season for the jays. Springer with a resurgence, straw being a valuable contributor, Heineman with a career year, guys like lukes, clement having great years, Schneider regaining form, Guerrero and bichette both having good years… varsho home run machine, Kirk back to form offensively.there’s a reason we have the best batting average in the league, everyone is contributing and playing above their heads

Who was that crazy person?
xAIRNESSx is taking my post out of perspective.
I said the Jays had 3 considerations for who to demote:
#1) Loperfido
#2) Schneider
#3) DFA Straw, and then bring him back to the active roster in seven days at the end of the assignment period as they are permitted to do.
In no way did I claim they should "waive" or release Straw to go away permanently. It was just for him to be inactive for up to a 7 day period, and then send Loperfido down for about the same afterwards.
I also then settled on Loperfido move being the right move because at least Straw and Schneider have more defined roles with Springer back. Especially since it appears that they are not fully committed to Barger against LHP's at this point of his career.
Ben Shulman explicitly said the same thing during the radio broadcast today, that DFA'ing Straw and having him return was a consideration they had likely made.

Need to take advantage of Rowdy pitching for the run differential

Why did the ranger throw tellez out there in the 7th though. They gave up already?

Why not? Why waste any pitching in a 10 run deficit when you have a game tomorrow

So they throw out tellez and we’re using our higher leverage guy?

These type of wins have to be really impressing that Yankee d'bag Michael Kay.

We don’t really have low leverage guys in the bullpen. Seranthony is down the list of guys I trust right now, tho.

I was really hoping for a Straw 3 home run game.
