0-2 on every count and can't finish the job resulting in a disastrous 3 run inning. I guess getting an out by a ball off the outfield wall was the only way

I do not want to see Berrios or Bassitt at all pitch in the post-season. Hopefully Scherzer, Bieber, Gausman can get the job done when needed in October.

don't trust berrios..few games back he gave up 6 runs in 1 inning, while Schneider just sat watching..same thing, sat there watching...berrios has this super trouble innings where he gives up hit after hit and lots of runs...

A 5-4 record against the stretch of the Dodgers, Cubs and Rangers was pretty solid given the quality of the starting pitchers we faced. And we didn't lose any of our lead to the Red Sox, Yankees over the period.

We now need to take advantage of our upcoming games against Pitt and Minnesota.

Eovaldi won’t be going anywhere in a few innings, I’d take longer than that

Good luck against Skenes tomorrow

Why are we pulling Berrios in a 5 run deficit, should have saved the arms for tomorrow

There is a reason Skenes has a win-loss record of only 7-9. And its not Skenes fault.

We will have to win a low scoring one.

They know the stuff numbers on Berrios, I doubt he’s even on the playoff roster right now barring some kind of resurgence in that in the last month

Last game beiber watched, we got blown out. He is in the dug out for this blowout, so far..berrios gave up 6 in 1 inning couple starts back and he gives up 6 now..why can't Schneider smell trouble earlier and give the pull earlier. Keep letting him struggle and game gets out of hand

I am inclined to make Eric Lauer the fourth starter if need be. I do not want Bassitt or Berrios pitching any innings in October.

They just won’t go with a 4th starter if things stay the status quo; you’ll see what amounts to a bullpen game I think.

None of starters have been consistent
Just have to see how it plays out in Sept
Can see Lauer being one of the top 3

Red Sox on the verge of sweeping the Marlins, looks like they’ll gain a game
