Yeah Tobes had no business coming out there. Ah well. New streak starts tomorrow.

No time to dwell on this one. We have a chance to pretty much put the division on complete lockdown the next few days.

A few chicken littles out today. Get that negative ju-ju out of here. It’s one loss - in extras. Chill my friends.

Bunting with Vaughn at second was a choice id make if I wanted the game to end asap because that sequence was freaking awful. Sucks to lose hopefully they bounce back in Chicago just fine.

Sort of positive, at least the Scrubs don't end the streak.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

At least the Cubs won't get the satisfaction of breaking the streak?

It's also stupid because you're basically saying "we just need one run," which is not at all true under the new extra-inning rules - especially when your bullpen is so depleted. Very outdated thought process there.

It's not chicken little to be annoyed over a loss that could have likely been avoided. No one thinks the season is doomed

Don't like giving games away, but can't win them all. Didn't matter who we lose the streak to.

Overall I thought Murph had a rough series but it all unraveled after the Turang error.

Silver lining is getting the L out of the way before the most important series of the season. I wonder if they would’ve come out extra tight if the streak was still alive tomorrow.
