As a Greek, i can assure everyone that we don't hit that hard our friend after a haircut, this is not a friendly slap at all. In any case, i agree with CharityStripe34, no reason to read too much into it. To be honest, this scene made me laugh. Evan Fournier, the former NBAer who's now teammate with Larentzakis in a Greek team, found it funny too.

MrBuckBuck:

Alternate angles of the Giannis "slap". No 5 Larentzakis, seems to be unbothered and Papanikolaou, Thanasis, Tyler Dorsey, and Nikos Netzipoglou crack up in the background.

The backround story is that Kostas Papanikolaou, the team captain was addressing the team during that huddle and possibly Larentzakis was not paying attention - fooling around.

Him and Giannis have known each other since highschool through the U20 teams. Practically have grown up together. Most of the other players there found the scene funny and laughed.

What a strange court. That would be a bit disorienting at first. Assuming it's Peace and Friendship stadium.

It is Panathinaikos Court (OAKA). ASB Glassfloor.

What would Giannis have done differently there if there was nobody else on the court?

Pulled up and shot a 3.

Hypothetically I would think that would have a lower PPP since I'm guessing the added advantage of possibly making the is more than negated by a chance at an airball or clank off the rim with the ball going out of bounce.

(My work computer crashed and unable to work right now so this is all I got)

I see Giannis is trying out some coaching methods of his own. First was the carrot, now the stick. I hope he runs up to Kuzma and slaps him like that after every brick.

Giannis with like 18-7-3 in 10 minutes against Porzingis and Latvia in one half. Midrange looks good too.

It's so fun watching Giannis play.
I keep forgetting and he keeps reminding me thankfully!

Yeah, the NBA nerd media is ready to drive a stake in Gianni's prime years and desperate to foster some sort of bad breakup with the Bucks, but he looks just as awesome as ever and has made improvements as an offensive player. He's gaining more patience.

Good to see the jumper working. Like seeing that over the bully ball stuff as we already know he can do that anytime he wants against anybody.
