Hollowell was their 27th guy for the DH. If there's a rainout and the DH is tomorrow do they get to use a 27th again? Doesn't seem right.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

A rainout tonight means Jansen has to play again tomorrow

Well that blows. Did they consider how this negatively impacts my enjoyment of the night?

As someone who works in weather, I typically have a good laugh at weather machine conspiracies, but the cubs might be up to something :reporter:

Can they send Hollowell down and bring up someone different to be #27 tomorrow? If so that really sucks. As does having to play Jansen again.

I wouldn't mind seeing Hollowell again. Note to Craig C.: he only threw a few strikes so should be fresh.

Me either but after pitching 2 yesterday he is unlikely to pitch today. But that's not my point. The Cubs got to use their 27th guy yesterday. If they get to use a different 27th guy today that doesn't seem right. I don't know if that's the case though. We'll see if he's still on the roster today. So far the Cubs have no transactions this morning.

I'm assuming game 2 will have the same lineup as game 1 yesterday. Yelli in LF, Contreras as DH and Jansen (ugh) as catcher.

Hollowell and Little sent down, Cosgrove recalled. It's still 2 hours until game time but if that holds that means the Cubs do not get a 27th player today.

Cubs hit Patrick in July. Hopefully he can give us 5-6 solid innings.
