Can't imagine why things are so quiet in all these Cowboy threads lately. Isn't this the time of the year we are talking a Super Bowl run here?

It appears like Parsons and Jerry are heading for a divorce. :ouch:

Parsons isn’t going anywhere unless Jerry wants him to. Parsons has no leverage. I still say that before game 1 Parsons will have his money and will be giving a press conference to tell everyone how he always wanted to retire a Cowboy.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but this sure feels different. Something tells me the Jones boys just don't like Parsons.

I think the Cowboys will be alright.

bjj, you are old enough to know you can't assess a team by how they perform in preseason.

I'm sure old enough to know when I see a team that will suck. The over all product is horrendous. Way too many red flags in all areas.

First off this is on Stephen, Parsons directly called out Stephen in this.

Second, I predicted this last season, because it what they literally do every time. Zeke held out. Dak was franchised. Apparently Lamb had a stand off. This was a given.

And more is coming. I bet they use the franchise tag on Parsons. And from a purely business standpoint? Franchising Parsons is their best move. And that is their ENTIRE PROBLEM. They view everything through the lens of business, and not through the lens of creating a meaningful relationship.

Well if they are going to trade him I would prefer they wait until next off season to trade him. If the Cowboys do have an interest in trading up for Arch then keeping Micah and trading him next off season would be the best move.

Franchising Micah could help them get one of the top QB’s in the ‘26 Draft.

How about this trade scenario? Micah Parsons to Tampa Bay for RB-Bucky Irving, DT Vita Vea and Buc's 2026 first round draft choice. Do you take? :gossip:

Might consider this if Vita was like 26. He's on the tail end of his career. And Jalen Blue is probably better than Bucky. So then you're looking at 1st round pick that we probably use on an edge guy to replace Parsons. Not worth it.

Yea it’s Vea is on the wrong side of 30. If I’m trading Micah it would be to get me in position to draft Manning or one of the other top QB’s in this draft (there are a few of really good QB’s). That is the only reason I would trade Micah.

I don’t expect the Cowboys to tank. They will suck naturally. I expect they will finish somewhere around 7-9 or 6-10 and will get a pick just outside the top 10. If they want to get a top QB or go for Manning they are going to have to trade up and likely give up a ton (including Parsons). But if they had Manning I could live with giving up the picks and Parsons.

Vita vea is the tush push stopper. You guys should do it. He’s the only guy that’s stopped the play multiple times

Arch is not declaring for the draft. You're going to have to wait on that.

2027 is a much stronger draft.

That's what I'm hearing to. Plus being the Dallas Cowboy QB doesn't have the same shine to it as it used to. Jerry has tarnished so much and made things unstable. Stay in school Arch. Don't come to Dallas to get ruined. :wavefinger:
