Caps is maybe a bit much but it's twice from this team in three days IIRC which is annoying.
Sliding into first is proven - many times over - to be slower than just running through the base, and with it being a guaranteed force-out play it is also an injury (hands/cleats) waiting to happen. Sal does not need to give his body even more chances to get injured than he already has with how all-out he plays the field (which is admirable).
