I'm not looking to him for advice on communicable diseases, but on games played in the NBA? He's earned the right to voice an opinion.

Old folk here. You can be "tired of the complaining boomers" but they/we are not wrong.. This generation has more "complex" problems than mine but I find the most complaining comes from THIS generation, and by a significant margin.

Playing the which generation is better game is silly but you aren't going to win that one. Maybe if the boomers hadn't done such a thorough job of wrecking the planet, dismantling public institutions, lowering educational standards, supercharging corporate greed, fueling the rise of extremism, rolling civil liberties and locking younger generations out of home ownership the younger folk wouldn't have so much to complain about ? Maybe. So yeah miss me with that we aren't wrong shtick. I'm still searching for something you did right (and by you I mean your generation not you specifically obviously).

Almost everything you mention are more wordly problems and many of those Have been created long before the so called boomer generation. Corporate greed industrial revolution and Poor educational standards were in play before the Is 20th century.. Most of the world's progress, From civil rights to women's rights to educational rights, To working rights, Human rights in general were made during our generation..
But aside from all of that my reference wasn't even to that but rather the character issues or should I say flaws that this generation clearly has.. Hard work, perseverance ' Selflessness, Family values, respect, honor, sacrifice , emotional control, community. And things of that nature. Are way down.. But instead we have a generathen that would rather actually witness a child drowning, Record on their video platform, Stand by and laugh and share the videos then actually getting in and helping. This generation more than any I have ever seen has a sense of entitlement, vanity carelessness, selfishness amongst many bother Imoral items I can not even say..
And all of this for you to somehow insinuate that my generation is the one to "Fuel extremism" is Laughable.. That is a symptom of this current generation. Not ours..
And that of course is typical of this generation, Instead of accepting personal responsibility, Just blame someone or something else
I can't believe I even replied to this. This is certainly one category I do not have the time or energy To waste my time with
Edit.. Can't believe I failed to mention that we should perhaps ask the teachers of this fine generation now and the difference between these students to decades past.. I would Be shocked if they had glorious things to say about this generation in comparison to The previous generations

This teacher sees lots of great things in his students every day and every year. I and my colleagues ask significantly less of our current students than in previous decades in terms of quantity of work produced. It doesn't help to tell them that. I still focus on quality of engagement, interaction, and work -- and the balancing factor is that on average they are living more than their average predecessors did with an awareness that the world is on fire and we are all doomed. They still give me optimism about the future.
