Jaylen is exceptionally close with his mother and his grandfather. Relationship with his father has always appeared pretty nonexistent.

And he is close to NBA superstar anyway, I imagine most people who at least somewhat know basketball, know who Jaylen Brown is. As you said, every guy who ever played in the NBA is called ''former NBA star'' or something like that in third party media.

Allegedly, he dinged someone with his car (not someone else damaging his). I don’t understand how he could be in the wrong and then still do something like this.

Right, I don't think the vast majority of TMZ's followers even care about the NBA. The superstar/star debate is merely a semantical argument within NBA circles; most people don't care about the NBA whatsoever.
