Tobias shot 34.5% from three last season.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

He started out horrible but finished strong.
Post all-star break he was over 40% and pre he was 32.5% but I remember his first few games he couldn't hit anything.... 3 of 20 (15%) in October and I think he started November off rough as well.
Probably closer to a 39% from deep shooter if you took out his first 10 games of the season.

Re: Pistons sign LeVert $29 million over 2 seasons.
Work is killing me so I had a meeting that I didn't have to participate for 1.5 hours, so I looked at stats instead. Lol
THJ/Beasly/Schroder for the first 3 months of the season (when Ivey played) = 40.73% on 20.87 3pt attempts per game. Remainder of the year, 38.31% on 20 attempts per game. (Of note: THJ's avg for remainder of year is consistent with his first 3 months, Beasley increased, Schroder decreased)
Ivey/Lavert/Robinson for the first 3 months of the season = 40.22% on 15.33 3pt attempts per game. Remainder of the year, 38.29% on 16.2 attempts per game. (Of note: Lavert decreased from his first 3 months and Robinson increased. Ivey's first three months were pretty consistent across the board, so I took his average for the remainder of the year. So, essentially, take those rest of the year numbers for what they are with some assumptions.)
In comparison, overall, Pistons were 17th in the League in 3pt% for the year. Top 5, in order, were Bucks, Cavs, Suns, Wolves, Nuggets. I went through and looked at each of those teams top 3 guys with at least 3 attempts per game for the season and actually played for the team for the majority of the year.
***Bucks - Prince/AJ Green/Trent Jr. for the first 3 months of the season = 42.11% on 13.1 attempts per game. Remainder of the year, 42.79% on 15.68 attempts per game.
***Cavs - Garland/Ty Jerome/Strus for the first 3 months of the season = 41.26% on 15.23 attempts per game. (Strus did not play Oct/Nov) Remainder of the season, 40.99% on 17.1 attempts per game.
***Suns - Durant/Allen/Jones for the first 3 months of the season = 39.96% on 16.1 attempts per game. Remainder of the season, 42.28% on 16.2 attempts per game.
***Wolves - Conley/DiVencenzo/Edwards for the first 3 months of the season = 37.32% on 22.6 attempts per game. Remainder of the season, 40.6% on 22.51 attempts per game.
***Nuggets - Gordon/Jokic/Porter Jr for the first 3 months of the season = 45.26% on 14.06 attempts per game. Remainder of the season, 39.02% on 15.26 per game.
First 3 months rankings:
1. Nuggets
2. Bucks
3. Cavs
4. THJ/Beasley/Schroder
5. Ivey/Lavert/Robinson
6. Wolves
7. Suns
So, neck-and-neck for our two groups, drop in 0.5% and 5 attempts per game for the new group.
Remainder of the season rankings:
1. Bucks
2. Suns
3. Cavs
4. Wolves
5. Nuggets
6. THJ/Beasley/Schroder
7. Ivey/Lavert/Robinson
Both groups fell the rest of the year in both rankings and percentages. Prior and new group had nearly identical percentages (.02% difference) with a 3.8 attempt difference.
