Are the Prime playoff & Bucks' games simulcast on other services? If so, I probably have legal access to everything I care about. Otherwise it could be an issue.

Good question. When TNT had Bucks games they were not available anywhere else. When ESPN did Bucks games they were also on FD. For playoffs the first round is, or at least was, also broadcast on FD. Beyond that, no. But this is the first time games have been on streamers.

Now we need the most cost effective way to collect them all.

Hold on you have legal access to the other services but you dont have Prime?

Doesn't pretty much everyone have Prime these days if only for the free delivery? lol

$15 a month for free delivery is highway robbery, especially if you don't use the streaming. Shipping is free if you spend $35. Now if multiple Bucks games end up there the math changes. Not looking forward to needing Fan Duel, Peacock, ESPN and prime to watch Bucks this year. Hoping some of the latter are on Fan Duel.

Prime only makes sense if you do streaming. I think their streaming options are solid. Quite a few good original series and a nice library of other stuff. Anyway, that's for the TV thread. People were upset when sports started moving from broadcast to cable. And now to streaming. Personally I don't care. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yea, there are workarounds on the free shipping issue, & just purchasing from Amazon in general. I only occasionally buy from there, then get multiple items, or ask a family member/friend if they need something.

You can do similar things, like splitting, on the other streaming services, even cable w/ their apps. Half these other streaming services have deals, especially on Black Friday, where you can get on a cheap yearly cycle. System-gaming is logistically tough w/ Prime. You either get it, or you don't.

I've never used Amazon or given them a dollar. Thus far, I've used their TV on a free trial one time and cancelled before it cost anything, I think a Packer game was on it last year?

Have to be one of only a handful of people to have never used Amazon or facebook.

Can't wait until all these tv services get bundled together and they call it "cable"

Not that I'm an uber Malik Monk fan or something, but the fact that they are trying to get rid of him to bring in Russel **** Westbrook is hilarious.

They just can’t resist shooting themselves in the foot at any given opportunity. Monk is a much better player than Russ right now and I have no doubt that his shooting splits would go back to somewhere around what he shot in his LAL season playing with Giannis. Would be a no brainer if we could make something happen.

Wow, Beas got hosed out of tens of millions because of this.

It's interesting that he's at least $8 million in debt. How did that happen? It could it's a matter of the gambling couldn't be proved in court rather than he didn't do it.

Sources said that Beasley and the Detroit Pistons were set to complete a three-year, $42 million contract to bring the 28-year-old guard back, but that proposal evaporated after the franchise became aware of the federal investigation and other interested teams paused conversations with Beasley as well, sources said.

Beasley signed a one-year contract with the Pistons in the 2024 offseason. As a result of Detroit signing Caris LeVert to the full mid-level exception, the maximum Beasley can re-sign with the Pistons for is $7.2 million, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks. In the absence of Beasley, Detroit signed LeVert, Duncan Robinson and Javonte Green to shore up their wing and guard corps.

Teams that have an exception to sign Beasley to a contract greater than $7.2 million include the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings and Washington Wizards. The Brooklyn Nets also have cap space in excess of more than $20 million.

The issue wasn’t just gambling tho, he could still have a problem but the investigation was about prop bets on games they played in. Really sucks for Beasley to miss out on that contract. I would take him back on the Bucks, his defense probably wouldn’t seem as bad not being the POA defender next to Dame with Lopez behind him.

It's good that when things come from Shams, it's easy to read the intent behind them. Can't take any of his posts at face value outside of the purely perfunctory x signed here, y signed here stuff.

Not a lawyer and this is unfair speculation but I wonder if he snitched.
