Tre Brown to the IR now.

Not a huge blow or anything but the amount of injuries is comical at this point

Now Tre Brown to IR. He was in the mix to be the third or fourth CB for a while there. Though dude has never stayed healthy. We haven't lost a completely essential player to a lengthy injury so far this offseason, but the short-time injuries and absolute decimation of our depth is absurd.

So many injuries.
Also really worried about the OL, hard to come together and have consistency when there are so many injuries

i guess this means the team doesn't trust either Guerendo or James to stay healthy or contribute?

Robinson has quite an injury history too since college.

With this team I wouldn't trust anyone to stay healthy.

And history shows we go through RBs like crap through a goose so we need as many quality bodies as we can.

Feel like this is a good deal. We need guys and Robinson and Guerendo should be able to back CMC up and hopefully spell him more this year to keep him healthy

What was the point of drafting a RB in the 5th then?

The trade market for the guy wasn't a thing until recently.

Plus off hand we've already had every back injured except CMC at some point so far with 2 guys going to the IR.

We just need quality bodies especially with this offense.

Drafted right after James Jordan were OL Miles Frazier (who we apparently liked), C Drew Kendall, Jalen Rivers, Marcus Mbow

now Jordan is what, our 4th RB on the depth chart?

i don't wanna doompill but I don't get it, I'm sorry.

Think there are a few reasons here.

James Jordan has lost a lot of valuable time for practice and preseason games so even if he comes back next week from his finger surgery I assume Kyle doesn't think he is ready to play. Gurendo is also injury prone so if we just stuck with those 3 we are really pushing it. If all of them are healthy then Kyle now can play CMC out of the backfield more often with our WR injuries/suspension. I would much rather have more RB depth to start the year and Robinson is a great back up to hopefully lessen the load from overworked CMC

I get the injuries angle, but there is a real chance James is our 4th RB this year for the majority of the year unless multiple injuries happen for an extended period of time - seems like a wasted pick already.

People are complaining about the price tag, but I like the addition. I think he fits as a role player or a lead if needed.

Meant being a 6th outright, not a swap as was being predicted. But their taking the salary helps with the cost both ways, imo.
