liberty in the midst of playing a bunch of games in a short period of time, so they are worn down?

The absence of Stewie can never be understated. Liberty frankly sucked on defense last night. That doesn't happen with Stewie.
MIssing Sabally and Izzy against the Sky really hurts too. They needed that size.

Liberty are going to be fine. JJ looked great, and Meeseman had as a good a game as you could imagine only scoring 5 points. Liberty are still going to be scary when healthy.

And let's not undersell the Sky.
Sure, they're a mess. Don't have a PG. They've lost a lot of games this year, but the league is stacked and somebody has to lose every night.

Angel, Kamila, and AA went off last night. They are really good. My guess is that that trio has only played about 15 games together this year.
Throw in E-Will, and that puts even more pressure on the thin LIberty front line.

For a tired, undermanned team in the LIberty, a moderately healthy Chicago team is not a fun match-up.

Outside of the Lynx, who just have a higher floor than anybody else, about anybody else can lose to anybody else.

People don't understand how much heavy lifting that Stewie does on defense for us.

If we can't get healthy, forget it.

Fastest in WNBA history (22 minutes), and the only one ever on 90% shooting.

Mystics coming out hot.

It would be just like them to lose back to back games against the Sun (no disrespect, they are so much better than people think), then beat the hottest team in the league.

Jewel completely changing the momentum off the bench.

When the Aces inevitably come back and win this, I just want it known that the Aces looked dead in the water until Jewel came in.

Chicago really could have used this version of Dana Evans last year.

Most people probably don't remember that Dana started for the Sky for the first 9-10 games last year. Chennedy was meant to be a bench player, but she became a starter because Dana was giving them absolutely nothing.

Of course, being asked to save a young team is very different than being asked to play a role on a team with championship pedigree.

A'ja is just ridiculous.

Shakira is younger, stronger, and faster. Throwing Kiki at her too.

A'ja just taking the pesky kids to school.

A'ja is constantly reminding everyone she is the best player in the WNBA on any given night.

Storm-Mystics should be a good one, hopefully.
Kiki v. Dom.
Sykes and AC against their old teams.

If Washington can win, they put themselves a little closer to a chance at another double-lottery pick scenario.

Kiki now the single season rebounding record holder for the Mystics.

Nneka got inspired by A'ja yesterday to show the young Mystics' bigs a few veteran tricks.

There's something about Dom that gets Shakira fired up.

Shakira has all the physical tools to be an MVP candidate one day.

She's a long way away from that with all the other stuff. But days like this you see the potential.
