Mertz 14-16 today.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Things are going well in Dallas.
ETA: That would be Micah Parsons, not dressed, literally laying around on the sideline while the team played

Shedeur, 3/6 for 14 yards and 5(!) sacks. Playing with backups sure. But also against backups. When asked whether he thinks he'll make the 53 man roster his response was "obviously".

Maybe a real useful thing for him is to be cut, and get picked up as a PS nobody, and start over, with a bigger chip on his humbled shoulders

Re: ATL - McLaurin/Parsons Requests Trade
I heard a theory on a podcast (I think ringer fantasy or maybe simmons) that qb's nowadays, who are good athletes, but maybe not great are struggling in the nfl because they don't get touched in practice, they can get away with running around all day in the backfield in college and in madden/cfb but can't in the nfl so they just end up taking a bunch of sacks. QB's back in the day or even more traditional pocket passers today would just get killed holding onto the ball so long, but players like Shadeur or Caleb Williams just can't reliably and successfully play like that. Neither are as good of athletes as Allen, Lamar or even someone like prime Russell Wilson when he'd run around in the pocket for ages.
Bears oline play wasn't great last year, but I also think there was a reason their OC just forced Caleb to run super low ADOT, quick plays. Shadeur had that cool play in week 1 of the preseason but has been pretty awful since.

Kid is talented enough to be a backup QB in the league right now, just needs 2-3 years in the right situation to sit back and learn how to actually play QB.

I was hoping the McLaurin situation would bleed into the regular season and he'd miss the Packer game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Jerry turns 83 in October. They are 5-14 in the playoffs since winning the SB 30 years ago. He's not going to take LVN (or any other player) plus picks for Parsons. Parsons will be on the field next week at Philly.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

I hope for his sake his updated deal includes language that doesn't let Cinci franchise him next year.

Does he have the brain and ego to do that? There are plenty of players with much more ability than Sanders who never figured that out.

He's got the former, I have doubts about the latter. Like you said, what he's missing is the physical ability.

Re: ATL - McLaurin Signs Extension
I see a couple of former Packiers got cut today from their respective teams: Samori Toure and Grant Dubose
Not lobbying for either guy, as I think the fellows already on the Packer bubble offer more.

Re: ATL - McLaurin Signs Extension
Vikings up to 7 UDFA's making the 53-man roster. That has to be some sort of record.
Edit: Bengals had 8 in 2018.
