And of course, after all that, Nneka just polished it off.

The announcers almost sound bored with how easily Nneka hit that game winner lol.

I'm late, but I saw on my feed the Sky coach went off on the terrible call.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Stewie (and Sabrina) supposed to be back tonight.
I don't particularly care who wins the title this year (assuming it won't be the Mystics or Storm), but I just hope all the contenders can get there moderately healthy.

This might be stupid, but I think Nneka is a dark horse to make All-WNBA.
Phee, A'ja, and AT are obviously locks. I think Allisha is too.
I'd expect the last spot to go to Sabrina or Paige if it's a guard (both Kelsey's making a case too).
But if it's 4 bigs, there's a case for Nneka. Won't happen, but there's a case.
If Stewie hadn't missed so much time, personally, I'd think it should be her. I don't give a **** what her 3P shooting percentage is, she's one of the 5 best players in the league.

Speaking of end of year awards, there's heavy competition for MIP from Naz Hillman and Azura, but Veronica Burton might have locked it up last night.
First player in WNBA history with three 10 assis- 0 turnover games in the same season.
Also first player with a 25 and 10 and 4 blocks.

Re: 2025 WNBA Regular Season Discussion Thread
Sun hanging in.
I know she needed to get out, but I would have loved to see AT play with this group. Many of these kids have the AT spirit.
Lacan out there playing with a black-eye. Rivers is a defensive stud. Hartley and Mabrey always looking to mix it up.
ONO and AE some good young bigs.
AT was done with Uncasville and didn't want to be part of a rebuild, which I get.
But this team still somehow has the spirit of AT.

Liberty playing well, but as always this year, somebody forgot to tell the Sun that they can't compete.

I'm there brother.
Unfortunately, I think the Liberty might survive this particular match-up. Dammit the Sun had'em.
