Knicks made the finals twice and competed for a good stretch during the Ewing years. They have me something. They even won a title when I was just outta diapers. The Islanders gave me four out of five! Yankees are the Yankees.

The Jets have given me nothing for four plus decades. I don't have the energy to start all over again. None at all. They have been to 4 AFCCG in my life. Lost them all. Decades apart.

Carry the torch brother. I was a die hard Jets fan for a loopooong time. I need a break.

You're not wrong.

But to me, when a team is expected to be bad, it doesn't bother me when they're bad. It's when they're expected to be good and stuff goes wrong that hurts. . . .
Go Knicks!! Go Mets!!

As for the Jets . . . just keep it entertaining.

My understanding is that, unlike the Giants, the Jets had a disappointing draft. Yet another sign that that the front office is still clueless.

I don’t really follow the team that much anymore since basketball season and baseball season cover the whole year for my purposes. Plus, I hate wasting beautiful Sunday afternoons in September and October. Woody has to go.

When your first round pick is an offensive linemen, it's not going to be sexy. The Jets draft was a damn solid draft, they solidified the offensive line which now has major draft capital invested into it to potentially become an elite unit within two years. Taylor is a TE that can play all over the field, Thomas was a nice steal for where he was drafted.

No doubt the Giants had a good draft, but if Dart flops that's all anyone will remember. The Jets didn't win the draft or off-season, which is perfectly fine with me.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.
C- Maluach l Jackson l Hayes

Jordan Travis retires due to health reasons. He says his leg never fully healed and consulting with his doctors he decided it was the right move.

I can see him suing the Jets for botching his rehab.

My understanding is that, unlike the Giants, the Jets had a disappointing draft. Yet another sign that that the front office is still clueless.

Their first three rounds were solid. 4-6 not so much. Buffalo jumping in front of the Jets twice to take a DT that they could use, especially in that 4th round, Moogy probably panicked. He should have traded up earlier to get a DT and a WR that can actually catch.

I don't think anyone knows. They just have opinions.

O-line is important. If they build an above average O-line for the next few years, that's at least a place to start.

The Tight End and CB they drafted are young players who could have upside. For the Jets it's all about 2026 and beyond, so I'm in the wait and see camp. I don't think anyone expects a lot of wins in 2025 unless Justin Fields finds some magic or something.

Bumping the post.
Nice that Mougs traded for DTs that can stop the run. Now go get a WR and another TE to help Fields

I have zero expectations of making the playoffs. That's zero reasons to watch this team. I truly do not care anymore. I will not be engaged or interested in anything short of a playoff contender. That's when I'll watch again. When we play another meaningful game. Even then I won't get my hopes up.

It will be interesting to compare the Defense with the first year we had Sauce when it looked like they were on their way to a top 3 D. After last year, not using much hopium.

Giants have 3 quarterbacks better than our best. Dart would have been interesting. Last I read on Membou was he was struggling.

So Justin Fields is our tank commander ? No pun intended.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

Third major injury in three seasons. He JUST got named captain and the jets are reliant as hell on the o-line because of the run game.

Smfh…I suppose you survive by sliding tippman to guard since he was in a competitive battle for starting C anyway. But yeah, this season was on track to be a “let’s watch college prospects” season and now even moreso.

This is already the best scripted portion of a Jets game I've seen in around five years. Not that it's a huge accomplishment, because the playcalling has been complete ass since the Adam Gase days.
