Rebuild was the only option. I'd have questioned management's sanity if they'd gone all in for 2025. Besides, I didn't leave the Knicks when they were the wost team in the NBA over a 20 year stretch. Jets have had 9 consecutive losing seasons, which is funny, but I'm still going to watch them and hope they put something together.
Knicks made the finals twice and competed for a good stretch during the Ewing years. They have me something. They even won a title when I was just outta diapers. The Islanders gave me four out of five! Yankees are the Yankees.
The Jets have given me nothing for four plus decades. I don't have the energy to start all over again. None at all. They have been to 4 AFCCG in my life. Lost them all. Decades apart.
Carry the torch brother. I was a die hard Jets fan for a loopooong time. I need a break.
You're not wrong.
But to me, when a team is expected to be bad, it doesn't bother me when they're bad. It's when they're expected to be good and stuff goes wrong that hurts. . . .
