Adrian Martinez, graded out crazy well athletically and came on as a project QB a couple years ago. He still has some bad miscues where he doesn't read the defense, but he's got wheels, an arm, and some grit to go with it. A lot of the Jets "scout" types prefer Brady Cook over him because he makes plays that really pop...I tend to think Martinez is safer, at least for the present.

I saw some nice upside from him. Very nice athleticism. If I'm Glenn I'm keeping that kid and continue to develop him.

The vibes are different this year.

When Dart threw his first TD versus New England, Malik and Dex both ran up to him to hype him up. Last year guys weren't even remotely as engaged.

This is the first time in a long time where I can look at what we have and see some semblance of a plan. If Dart pans out that's a starting QB on a cheap control for 5 years.

This isn't surprising and I wonder if he just goes back to the practice squad.

The real surprise for me is that we cut Elijah Chatman.

Maybe the most surprising we cut Greg Dulcich, might have been our best TE in camp. I know he doesn't block much but he seemed like a weapon.

the good news is when you start building out a good team with talent cuts are tougher and tougher...in the past our cuts would be easy and then we would scour the waiver wire for adds...not I believe some of our cuts will get picked up by other teams.

I thought me might have been the odd man out. He's really a big receiver and I don't know if he consistently creates separation against starters.

If it came down to him and Fidone, I always thought Fidone was going to win out on potential.

I personally would have cut Manhertz because I don't like one-dimensional players and Bellinger and Johnson are decent blockers.

I guess they value Manhertz on specials and as a goaline blocker rather then more of a big WR (which Dulcich is).

He was a 3rd round pick a few years ago and injuries got him so there is a chance he's more talented than Fidone, but the Giants typically don't cut there recent draft picks.

Maybe they can sneak Dulcich on practice squad.

I think Chatman will be on practice squad...tough to find a spot on the 53 for a specialist smaller DT that can't stop the run.

You're forgetting Chatman is a top flight fullback :D

I'm just glad Tommy got a job. Again, he has proven that he is at minimum a decent QB3 at this level, no reason why he shouldn't be on a roster.

Also I think LilJordan is better than Hyatt's garbage ass

It was actually a good move by the cowboys. They’re nowhere near close to competing and got as much value as they could. Why waste their cap space while also sucking

nah, the problem with the cowboys, is they always get so gassed up and the players gas themselves up so you got guys like dak resetting the market for QBs when they aren't even close to being that guy, or paying zeke when paying RBs are super risky, etc.

paying parsons isn't the problem, it's caving and giving all the other guys that holdout these record breaking deals when they shouldn't be getting them
