A little surprised by this. I wasn't super impressed with Stackhouse and thought he'd be a pretty easy PS stash

I haven't been paying a ton of attention but I was surprised some of you guys thought Stackhouse wasn't gonna make the team. Guys with his size and college pedigree don't grow on trees and he seemed to be having a good camp.

He's definitely big. But I thought he had a few things working against him. He got pushed around way too easily by backup OL imo, being a UDFA he seemed one of the easier guys to get through to the PS, and I didn't think they'd keep 6 DTs, none of whom really help on STs

Is there a CB out there they'll pick up? They have Hobbs, Nixon, Valentine, and Melton. Plus Bullard who can play nickel.

Maybe Micah Robinson makes the team as the last CB.

Looks like Kamal Hadden and Micah Robinson made the team.

Omar Brown is supposed to be good to go soon. Does he bump someone off this roster, or no?

Nevermind......
Safety Omar Brown (chest) was placed on injured reserve but was not designated to return, meaning his 2025 season is over unless Green Bay reaches an injury settlement with him.

Orzech's extension is a bit of a surprise to me. To my mind, Daniel Whelan's long reach and great hands count for more. I've never been impressed with Orzech's accuracy.

I suppose continuity counts for something

On a different note: who do they try to stash on the PS now?

I don't think anyone they released gets claimed. They should basically get their pick on who they want to bring back to their PS. Maybe someone like King just wants a chance with another team though

Wonder if it's Clifford, Elgersma, or someone else who'll hit the practice squad. Also wonder about the international player spot and if it would go to Elgersma or if Hale is okay again.

Maybe Micah Robinson makes the team as the last CB.
The real issue with that group is imo Hobbs (one of their 2 big FAs) is only the 3rd best CB of the group.... Well that and a lack of depth

(Full disclosure i think Valentine is gonna be a lot better then most people think this year)

If they trade for Micah and give him that contract they will likely have to do some salary cap "kick the can down the road stuff"

It would be worth the risk. Our corners are going to be bad, need great pass rush.
