Either way...35 years old is perfect for Morey. His last stint was with Houston so the ex Rocket/old vet connection is strong with Morey and I fully expect him to leap at the opportunity to add this maniacal animal to the lineup. His 6'8 240 pound frame will be maximized on this team and will fully allow Maxey to punish opposing defenses. Faried seems to have improved his three point jump shot as well which make him a deadly, lethal option from deep all game long! I fully expect all this to happen followed by a Luis Scola signing as well. God knows we need more veterans on this roster. Might even look into Ronny Seikaly as well.

Rony Seikaly. Now that's a blast from the past. Wasn't he Miami's first ever draft pick?

He was...A year later Miami would then draft the immortalized Glenn Rice along with legendary shot maker Sherman Douglas.

Good

We now have a bare minimum of 16 games to let the young guys run without two old plodders around

I guess that's good, too. I was just thinking, "Good - 16 games where Embiid won't get hurt."

Amico. Amick is very reliable, Amico is not.

The only way we could fit his salary is if either,
(a) we traded Maxey, George or Embiid,
(b) Boston cuts him first.

Jacquez shot well with his Jimmy Butler bag here.

Justin Edwards has a real chance to give us a “Ricky Council”type performamce next season.

The best way to maximize Watford is as a point forward, ideally alongside McCain and Edgecombe. That makes him a natural fit in a backup role.

He’s not a good fit
(a) not a former Rockets player
(b) he’s not atleast 32 years old

Sixers have 4 guards already unless they're trading Grimes. Complication #1. Then the only way to make it make sense is to be dumping George and/or Embiid on a 3rd team. Complication #2.

I don't think this is anything we put any credence to.

Boston would rehab PGs value and get 2 unprotected firsts for him at the deadline.

I am kind of numb to any good Joel Embiid news. If he's doing well, fine but I am not getting my hopes up. I'm mentally prepared to watch this team play without him for the entire season and I'm going to enjoy it. Hopefully we have a few players breakout and it's an enjoyable season. Anything Embiid can give is just an added bonus. Looking forward to seeing just what McCain can actually do, for a full season, and can he and Maxey work together effectively.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Marlo
