indeed.

I was expecting a low scoring game since it's the like the final match for 4th spot, but 50 points for the game is way too low win anything.

Thanks. I went there but it looked a little suspicious.

It works fine and you get a ton of games from all different FIBA competitions. And it's mega cheap.

The only strange thing is that they will black out the scoreboard if you miss a game so you can see it on demand, but it's next to impossible to find the game on demand within the app.

We are playing in Latvia's pace but we managed to build an 8 point lead. Succesfully chasing the Latvia's guards on perimeter and disable the backdoors on defensive end. Still Kenan Sipahi's 3x3 pointers might be his career high. Hope to maintain the defense on the second half.

It's pretty pathetic how small the amount of travelling basketball fans is for many countries, even for the biggest of European countries. Small sports/basketball passionate countries like Finland and Lithuania always have big fan support no matter where the tournament is played, but don't know if there are many other countries who can match these fanbases. Looks to me like big countries like Germany and France have pretty pathetic amount of fans supporting them abroad, especially considering the huge population size of these countries.

I was at the olympics in Paris and France at home seemed to have people pushing for them even in bars when they played. However in Europe people value football (in america soccer) a lot more. Basketball is a secondary sport.

For my country... well, for me going to Paris was a once in a lifetime type of thing, like it was when I went to Anfield to watch a Liverpool match. It's extemely expensive given our salaries to go to such events. And also most of the population here doesn't even care about basketball. It is what it is.

it should have been the exact opposite but especially Kenan (5 - 3pointers) was the difference maker. Zagars' injury effected a lot but our defense was on a different level. Porzingis shouldn't put us in the same level with Portugal and Estonia =) Thanks him for the extra motivation.

Good luck for the rest of the tournament

Not to jinx it as game just started, but man Lauri is nice. Funny to remember him in college, he was obviously super talented 7 foot sniper, but it was feared he is soft and just a shooter. Now looking him there, at least when playing for Finland dude is such a bully, it sounds crazy, but he is kinda Giannis like but also with elite shooting range, dude is ramming bodies out of his way. This guy will lead Eurobasket in scoring I bet.

Estonians can't even dribble past Avramović. Not sure what the box score says, but the eye test says three steals in four minutes.

He's playing with an elite playmaker for FIBA standards in Schröder. In Munich he is stuck with Napier, Edwards and other shoot first players. It's obvious he can't shine in that system.

But, yes, he takes pride in playing for Germany. However, without Bonga this will be kind of tough defensively.

Estonia is just one of those countries that values team basketball so much that no one there learns how to create off the dribble.

Still good enough to get them into the tournament. Props for that.

SGA couldn't dribble past him, let alone the Estonian players
He turns into a beast when playing for the NT.

Discussed many times, but Lithuania is the same, a lot of our point guards can't beat any pressure or do anything without screen. When you think about it, even Jasikevicius had no handle, like at all, he just had ball protection skill, which is a bit different, like Ulanovas is the same way. but they are not guys who would do anything without screens. Obviously, Estonian players are worse version of Lithuanian players, a lot of Lithuanian talents at least good enough to make Barca youth roster or something and further develop in a proper country.... it is what it is.

Avramovic is best defensive player in Europe tho.

I work evening shifts now, so I could not watch this game sadly, just checked the score. Sengun is very good, I told you guys before draft this guys a prodigy, no man, GMs of actual NBA teams just had to draft Joshua Primos, James Bouknights and Chris Duartes before taking this guy. Congrats Houston.

Germany also won that game by 30 points. Man, it is crazy how good Germany is now, just wasn't the case in the past, World champions after Dirk retired, 20 years ago you would have thought they will suck so bad after Dirk is done. But I guess we Lithuanians also had this superstar effect, our best generation ever came after Arvydas Sabonis.
