Does Minnesota know they have an older roster?

What do we think Duke?

I feel like the last few times Minnesota has brought back a fan favorite, it hasn't worked out too well. Hopefully this works out better.

Ridiculous over pay. But it’s not like I have any faith of Kwesi using a 4th round pick for anything either than a special teams player to begin with.

With that said, even with how old he is. I much prefer Thielen to Nailor as WR2 for the first 3 weeks and him as WR3 once Addison returns.

Now they need to add another DB

we were kind of screwed in the negotiation on this one
everyone knew we needed a wr and everyone knows that we'd like thielen and he'd want to go back

bad bargaining position from the jump

Yup. Like in an ideal world, just give me Renfrow for free. But like any other Vikings fan, it’s impossible not to have a massive sentimental value when it comes to Thielen.

Then you throw in its not like we’ve been using our 4th round picks on actual players anyways. So hard to be upset with this.

Even with Thielen being 35. He’s joining a group of

JJ
Addison
Hock
Jones
Mason

So it’s not like we need huge volume from him. Just timely plays and I still have no doubt he’s capable of that. Plus again, seeing Thielen in purple again is worth it

do we know if he's planning on retiring after this year?
because it will be a little awkward if he says i want to keep going but its at a higher price than the vikings want so they let him go to another team and we're doing this same song and dance again in two years when he actually is retiring

https://www.cincyjungle.com/cincinnati-bengals-news/172449/dalton-risner

Risner will start immediately at RG for the Bengals. Zero sacks allowed the last 2 seasons. He's a trash run blocker but given Burrow gonna throw it 50 times per game, his 76.1 PFF pass-blocking mark from last season will come in handy.

By the way is he standing next to Carl Winslow from family matters? Maybe that means he’s going to Chicago…?

ESPN says the Giants are relying on Russ and Jameis to mentor Jaxon Dart.

Word has it that Micah has agreed to a new deal which will make him the highest paid non-QB. It won’t be announced until Sunday though so that Jerry can steal the headlines.

Why would the Cowboys sign him to a long term deal? They can just tag him next year and year after that save potentially save at least $40M.

Well, it appears it is the Packers. I haven’t seen the trade package though.

I never claimed Jerry Jones was smart. This is probably the dumbest move he’s made since he’s been in Dallas.
