Honestly this is pretty ridiculous.

AD, Walton, and Tatum should not have been drafted where they were.

FFS. I was on until I left home at 2:30, was going to pick Walton when I got to my destination (20 min drive) and totally forgot.

It's kind of wild that everyone picked in round 1 (and my own pick at the start of round 3) were all players I considered taking with my first two picks.

I strongly considered going Tatum/Giannis right off the bat.

With Nash/Giannis my default pick was actually going to be Klay Thompson- his fit is perfect. But I couldn't pass on the Tatum/Giannis forward combo- I needed that lengthy combo to match up to some of the forward combos I anticipate cropping up in this game.

Honestly I think you're fine. There are still multiple MVP level bigs who will likely be available at your third round pick. I'd have considered passing on a center at that spot anyway.

Not sure Klay would have been my choice of wing, but he projects as a great third option in this pool and is more flexible in fit than the others given he's 3 and D. Klay/Kawhi gives you unique flexibility.

If LR shows up before too many more picks I definitely see viable options for him still too. He really could have used Dr J though.

I almost took Dr J myself, but I was pretty dead set on Giannis as the best overall pick at that spot given his MVP status, category flexibility, and (somewhat) moderate price.

This is why I'm always worried about joining drafts with this few participants...

Feel like I was too conservative but I'm not sure what I'd changed if I could pick again. Probably the effects of large pool relatively to participants group size

Given his utility and potential to fit in every category except one, I'm kinda surprised I landed Jrue here tbh.

Giannis/Brook lock up the "brothers" and "Buck" categories (it doesn't matter which is which) and I of course have Tatum for the Boston category, but I can still use Jrue for the "rings with multiple teams" category if I want to use his Buck or Celtic season. Or I could just use him for the ever troublesome Pelican category. I don't see myself doing it but I could "in theory" use him for Philly too, though I don't really like those seasons for him.

Love the wealth of options this gives me.

Three things are certain:

1) Death
2) Taxes
3) Ness taking off-prime Harden

I actually usually try to avoid him, but he fits here. Might even become 6th man, I got a ton of FGA’s left.

This is sometimes fun.

Who's the player (besides Jrue himself, who ironically only fits in 7 of the categories because he hasn't played in Portland yet) who fits the most categories?

I drafted Giannis who fits in 3 (brother, Bucks, picks 15-30). Ray Allen also fits in three (Celtics, Bucks, multiple rings with different teams).

James Posey and Bill Walton also fit three. There are also two other undrafted-yet guys I can think of
