Figured I'd put other teams' interesting cuts in this thread.

I can't see us adding him to the active roster given the injuries at WR, but the Jets cut Malachi Corley, who drew some comparisons to Deebo in last year's draft. Granted he's a second-round pick who just got cut by a team that isn't super-talented, but if we could get him to the PS, I'd be interested in taking a look. He went several rounds too high IMO, but as a gadget player in a Shanahan scheme he holds some appeal.

Actually, I think Corley was a high third-round pick. Not that is matters all that much.

Falcons are down their first- and second-string RTs. Given that they traded next year's first-round pick to the Rams, and that Penix is left-handed, that's pretty brutal.

TE Benjamin Yurosek made the Vikings as an UDFA. He's a guy I really wanted the Niners to pursue after the draft. Pretty good receiving numbers at Stanford, then went to Georgia and was a good blocker. Would have been a great guy to groom to maybe take over for Kittle some day. But why do weird things like try to plan for your aging stars' departures?

TE Jalin Conyers was a plus blocker who made Miami's 53 undrafted.

TE CJ Dippre made the Pats' practice squad.

That was a position I really, really wanted us to address in the draft of UDFA. Feels like a missed opportunity to pass on it just to hang onto Jake Tonges and Braden Willis.

The 49ers need third and fourth rd picks for kickers and punters

Who is to say they didn't try to sign any of them after the draft?

I liked Thomas Fidone and he made the Giants roster as a 7th rounder

Was a really good TE class, bummer we couldn't get our hands on one

It's possible, but we didn't exactly attack UDFA this year. Take Yurosek as an example. The Vikings have a good starter at TE in Hockenson. They have Josh Oliver playing on a three-year deal that averages $7 million a year and wasn't like to get cut. They drafted a TE in the 6th round. Kittle has the starting spot locked up for us, and we had a new blocking TE, but behind that it was wide open. Yurosek played at Stanford for three years and probably would have jumped at the chance to come back. I'm quite confident he would have gone with us over the Vikings if we'd really made a play for him. Missed opportunity IMO.

Yeah, probably my two biggest regrets coming out of the draft and UDFA were not addressing OT and TE. I was just shocked, having passed on them in the draft, that they didn't bring in at least one UDFA at those positions where we just didn't have any depth at all. Obviously a UDFA is unlikely to hit, but why not bring in a player to challenge the back-of-the-roster depth at those positions? Seems like a mistake.

Micah Parsons to Green Bay for two first round picks and a DT.

Man I hate the Chiefs. They make a lot of good luck for themselves, but come on. Rookie RB goes out of bounds when they could have killed all the clock, and they have time for a FG drive to end the half.

Those three points the chargers gifted the chiefs are looking awfully big right now....

OMG! Herbert with his best Mahomes impression! How did he have that much room to run?

Give credit to Roman for carving up the Chief's defense in the second half through the air

Yeah, big game for Herbert. He almost always loses these games.

Noteworthy that the chiefs only called like ten runs. Mahomes the leading rusher by a mile.

Only caught the second half. Looked like the Chiefs couldn't generate pressure with just 4 down linemen so Spags started blitzing more but the Chargers were ready for it. People question whether their WRs are good enough but they seemed to be getting open last night.

I don't know if the Chiefs lost starters on defense. I think Reid their safety?

Lot of penalties on the offense, Simmons the rookie with 2 and Taylor the RT with 4.

I'll be interested to see if the 9ers and McDaniels reunite when he gets fired sometime this season.

Maybe it's a week 1 overreaction but the Fins are looking like a team that's starting a death spiral.

Made that comment to my dad earlier. I wouldn't doubt if he comes back but my guess is he will be looking for a real OC job

Cheap for a OT but ehhh, could have just used a 3rd or 4th pick for a cheaper option
