Re: 2025 Offseason Thread Vol.6
Best thing Heat can do is try to get productive minutes from Rozier. That would be a huge f u to the haters. Send him to gleague if he is open to it. Anyone have any info of how rozier is in practice? Is it just games he can't produce in? Seems like he is under someone's thumb.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Yeaaahhhh nah. That contract is expiring with the heat lol. I dont see where'd he even play with Powell, Herro, Mitchell, and Dru there.

I'm sure he'll end up playing unfortunately. Spo seems to like to play him since it took forever for him to finally bench him last year and Dru doesn't exactly have a great track record of availability.

Stern was doing that to players, having Riley just means it's closer to home.

herro doesnt start for any of those two teams.
He is a ball stopper that requires the ball on his hand and high volume to be productive. Whereas he should try to be more like a Ray Allen type of player and just make himself ready for an open shot.
What are we going to do, take the ball away from Anthony Edwards, Jalen Brunson?
And then just by having him on the court, the defense suffers.

I didn't know Pelle was born in Sweden. I have seen him somewhere in Miami and I never try to approach him although in person he looks like he spent a lot of time in a swim pool and weght room and his veins are extremely visible on his wrist.

Who exactly on the team Herro currently plays for would allow him to be Ray Allen? A team with a lack of on ball creation. And I imagine you're talking about older Ray Allen as well. Not young Ray Allen who was way more than a catch and shoot guy. On ball plenty and averaged around 18-19 shots per game in his prime taking over 10 2s per game. Ray Allen didn't become the Ray Allen you think Herro should be until he got to Boston and played off of two hall of famers and a pass first point guard. So if you can rustle those players up for this Heat team to build a roster then please do.

Well thats why we arent going very far this season because for the second year in a row, we are asking a roleplayer best suited as a sixth man, to take the ball and jack up his volume as high as possible because there is no other real option.
Hes not doing any of that **** on the Knicks or Timberwolves, theyll sit him on the bench where he belongs and is not a starter for either teams.

Not sure I am buying what they are selling here but Devin Carter was a target with big ties to Heat organisation (Father is Anthony Carter, who was a player, then assistant coach here till 2023), at a position of need and was a lotto pick.

If Herro was on either one of those teams the structure of the rosters would be different so you don't know that he'd be on the bench. You don't just plug in a guy making over 30 million dollars on to a team with his skillset and say he's a 6th man because of how their built currently without him.
And if Wolves were starting Mike Conley they could start Tyler Herro. Conley doesn't play any defense at this point in his career and was a nothing on offense

For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Yea that was a wild take to me. Wolves got bounced in 5 in a series that wasn’t very competitive and the Knicks were pretty outclassed as well. Herro on those teams is a 3rd option which would kill his effectiveness with his shots and usage plummeting, he’s not a good support player because he plays 0 defense and can be hunted all game. Brunson and Herro defensive backcourt would be hilarious. OKC and Indy would’ve ate him alive in the playoffs.

Look at the draft… there aren’t many in round 1 or 2 that a case can be made for to be better than Herro’s case. Garland is the only one that jumps out at me of having a big impact for their team…
