He’s the defensive version of Dak.
This might accidentally work out for the Cowboys in the end.

I see it differently. I think the Packers cut their own throats today. But I also think Jerry could have got a better deal.
They will be in cap hell for at least the next 4 years. When do they have to pay Love?

I mean, is this the biggest trade in Packer's history? Those fans must be floored right now
This is the biggest trade and the best pick up since Reggie White signed here. I was floored and happy af this is a young talented team he fits right in those 1st rd picks don’t matter to o me they will be late 1st for a difference maker to our only weakness on D
He’s no Reggie White.

Love signed last year we are the youngest team we will be alright probably one of the only teams that can pay him and not effect us much

Yeah, the Packers are a draft & develop team. Most of the roster is made up of guys on their rookie contracts. They'll be just fine. Gigantic move for them.

Didn't Baun grade out better than Parsons last year, and he's signed for what, 17 million a year?
Sometimes investing in low risk high reward players gets you farther, because one non-QB is only going to do so much for you, no matter how good they are.
Sounds like Hendrickson hahaMr B wrote:Micah Prescott wrote:I think like this trade. Not quite the Hershall Walker trade, but this is how it starts.
It's close though. I'm not thrilled, but also not upset.
Micah is now the highest paid non-qb in history, and TBH I'm not sure he is worth that. He is great, top-5. But he is not TJ Watt.
He has a tendency to run himself out of plays. He never focuses on the run and is simply trying to get to the QB (even if it’s a run play).

Nobody tell the Bengals that hahahaMicah Prescott wrote:Cactus Jack wrote:Micah Prescott wrote:I think like this trade. Not quite the Hershall Walker trade, but this is how it starts.

This only works out if they draft impact players with those picks. Otherwise, it's a lose/lose. Micah is still by far their best & most impactful defensive player. Still in his prime. Guys like him aren't easy to find.
You're not factoring in the money. $47M/per is like paying 2 QBs
Burrow and Allen's contracts are $55M/per. I mean Parsons is making very close to that.
It is too much IMO

I don’t have a problem trading Micah. He’s flawed. I means he’s a great pass rusher but not a great football player if that makes sense. I would have preferred they trade him to a team with a worse outlook. A trade for Hendrickson and 2 FRP’s would have made a lot of sense. But I do agree that trading Micah might be the best thing for the Cowboys long term.

I don't have the Bengals as a worse outlook over the Packers. I can't at all see the Packers even winning their own division. No way they are better than a healthy Lions team. And I have the Bengals making the playoffs, I don't have the packers making the playoffs.

Keep an eye on the Vikings too.

Its not like the Packers don't have their issues. They have still question marks in key areas, imho.
