Biggest loss to Dallas Micah Parsons or Luka Dončić

I know it's across sports, but which do you rate higher? Which team recovers quicker, the Cowboys or the Mavericks? Which is the worst trade?

I don't really remember a sports city getting decimated like this in a really long time.

Micah Parsons is the best thing to happen to dodgeball since Patches O'Houlihan. His impact on that game far outreaches that of Luka's, such as adding a 6th D, to the 5 Ds of dodgeball (another Dodge, for those wondering).

Dallas unexpectedly trading Parsons to the the Purple Cobras is possibly the most controversial move in the ADAA since Steve the Pirate's trade to Skillz that Killz despite the former's public statement that "Errrr... Joe's be the only place for Steve".

Luka. One, the impact a star basketball player has can only be matched by a QB in football. Two, at least Dallas got at or near fair compensation for him (especially when you factor in the cap hes gonna eat up, which for a non-QB is a tough pill to swallow)

A football equivalent of Luka would be like the Bills trading Josh Allen

From an equity standpoint, I'd argue the Cowboys won this trade. Mavs lost their trade in an avalanche.

Cowboys get:
Stud D lineman (3x Pro Bowl) on reasonable contract
+
two first round picks
+
Not eating up $45mil per year in salary cap for Parsons

Especially in the NFL, with a fixed cap, you cannot underestimate the impact of having that cap space for other players. Studs and duds just doesn't work in the NFL. Bengals this year will be perfect test case with

Mavs play second fiddle to The Cowboys for that city and metro and the meaning gap between the two teams is wider than the grand canyon.

Lord help me... They did NOT get AD and COOP in the damn trade... This trade is the worst trade in NBA history. We are already seeing a healthy Luka before the season has even started. Luka will go down as the worst trade ever. Luka means business.

They got a broken and older AD and Max Christie who fell off a cliff after his first few games. The same Max Christie who is backing up an old Klay Thompson.

the cowboys never recovered from firing jimmy 30yrs ago, so basically they've been in chronic recovery for 30yrs

Ok but this Micah guy is not a star QB. He's replaceable.

Luka was the whole Mavs franchise, and they were on the verge of implosion without him. If not for the Flagg miracle they'd be f*cking cooked.

Let's wait for the NFL season to start. If you hear "Fire Jerry" chants; They might be on the same level. For me, the Luka trade will never be explainable.

The Mavericks traded the best player their franchise has ever had, a season after the made the finals

The Cowboys have been a treadmill team for almost my entire life

The sports media world was upside down for a week after the Luka trade. I can’t call this even relatively close

That just means you don't watch the NFL.

The biggest loss is Luka though, but the Cowboys are 10X bigger than the Mavs are so the Micah trade is more fun to poke fun at.

Which loss will hurt more
