There were also a couple of posters here that said he would never get two first rounders.

Seems like an emotional move, like Jerry took it personally, rather than act on the best interests of the team.

Not sure who said that, but that was probably closer to the actual return than what I was hearing some cowboy fans in here saying the compensation was gonna be.

Based on what I was reading here, it sounded like it was gonna be the biggest trade in NFL history, by far. But that’s not even close to being accurate.

Hell, the jets received more for trading Jamal adams 5 years ago. A safety lol.

I think this is the problem right here.. Jerry thought he was trading some guy named Michael.

Two number ones with change was what most was saying. So really not that far off TBF. Plus they got a tackle. The 47 million brought down is value.

Only positive thing about this trade is that Cowboys avoid a cap crisis in which 3 players could be making $140-150 million next season.

lol nobody said “two and some change”.. I saw a lot of “at least 3”.

I do think I saw something like “if it’s gonna be two then those two are gonna be high draft picks, like top 10 overall picks”. Top 10 picks are not close to picks in the mid 20s. Hell, to jump up from the mid 20s to top 10 would take like two 1sts, minimum, but probably more, like two firsts and a 2nd.

Some change.   LMAO here. As long as Jerry is running the show and this continues to be his personal playpen, does anyone really believe their will be a change in Dallas, especially in the culture department.

Yes it was said. lol
A few people thought the Mack trade was a good comp.
The bears gave up two firsts, a third and a 6th for Mack and a second rounder and a conditional 5th.

Yes. QB_Eagles mentioned Khalil Mack, but he’s not a cowboy fan.

I wasn’t talking about cowboy fans just the posters in here in general. A few were low and few were high but most had two firsts

I only commented on potential Micah trade offers once and that was to call trades involving 2 firsts plus Chris Jones or Jalen Carter stupid. Why trade an equal/better player PLUS picks?

Must have some off field issues coming up. That can be the only explanation I can see with this. He’s been one of the more slept on safeties over the last few seasons and still 29 going onto 30 this year. So it’s not like he’s completely aged out.

With that said, man I would love for the Vikings to pick him up

Supposedly frees up $25 million in cap space.

Maybe Jerry realized Cowboys need to reset, rather than inflate their payroll for a team which is unlikely to contend.’

He should have reached this conclusion before paying Lamb and Dak again.

He wanted to return home pretty badly. Taking a massive pay cut coming back.

I’ll give Kwesi credit, when credit is due. Whether they use this extra cap this year or roll it over to next. Getting Thielen back on this cheap of a deal was a good move.

Its so hilarious watching the Egal fans and posters talk more about the Cowboys than the Cowboy posters. A pattern has begun to form.

Well yeah of course, that’s because all of you former cowboy fans are bandwagoning onto the chiefs. I don’t blame you for not wanting to talk about your ex.

There isn’t enough chiefs news right now. Travis and taytay are engaged so now Travis is probably gonna buy the chiefs.
